Pumpkin People! We are finishing prep for opening day. Due to soggy weather in late June & early July we will not have the normal amount of pumpkins. What we have are cute, funky, fabulous but limited.

We’ll open Saturday September 5, 2025 at 10:00 am. I think we have enough to be open all weekend. I’m not sure about the following week.

If you’re looking for our pumpkins, your best bet is this weekend. We’d love to see you here at the farm, at Madrid True Value, or at Hinge on 5th.

We appreciate all of you. Wanted to be up front about our season.

Hello Pumpkin People! This season has been rough. All the rain hurt the vines and impacted yield. We did start picking.

What does that mean? The pumpkin stand will open Saturday September 6, 2025. I do not know how many weeks we will remain open due to lack of pumpkins. This year - we will wing it & see how it goes. I guarantee a short season.

***Wanted - pumpkin picking help during Fall 2025 Season***

We are looking for pumpkin picking help Saturdays & Sundays starting August 30.

Must be able to work at least Saturdays between August 30 and September 14. Ideally most Saturdays and Sundays.

Requirements - at least 14 years old, prior experience working outside, able to work in the heat, take direction, be detail oriented, and able to work as part of a crew. Positive professional attitude towards coworkers and customers needed.

Saturdays 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sundays 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This is a great opportunity for a high school or college aged person looking to make some money.

***Wanted - hoeing & weeding help during 2025 pumpkin growing season***

Alt Farms Pumpkins is looking for hoeing, weeding, and site maintenance this summer. We will work one weekday evening and one weekend partial day each week.

Opportunity can extend into fall pumpkin picking season. Fall season starts mid August & goes until early October. Schedule will switch to Saturdays & Sundays in the fall.

Requirements - at least 14 years old, able to work outside in the heat, take direction, be detail oriented, able to use a hoe, and expected to work as part of a crew. Positive professional attitude towards coworkers and customers needed.
