The Market Munchkins

The Market Munchkins All kids farmer's market. All products will be made and sold by kids. We feature young artists, soap makers, bakers, crafters, musicians and so much more.

The Market Munchkins was founded in 2023 by Max and Bridget Glassman with the goal of giving kids an opportunity to learn about business, community and charity. We believe that by empowering children to take charge of their own small business, we can teach them valuable life skills and create a stronger future for our community. Our market will be twice a year with our vendors participating in community events throughout the year.

Hey Market Munchkins!

We have an exciting opportunity to be a vendor at the NorthShore Robotics, A Louisiana STEM 501c3 STEM Fest — and we would LOVE to see our Munchkins there!

Since this is a STEM-focused event, each vendor will need to explain how their product connects to Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math. Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered!

💡 Think about questions like:
• Did you measure, mix, or test something? (That’s Science + Math!)
• Did you design or build something? (Engineering!)
• Did you use tools, machines, or digital design? (Technology!)
• Did you problem-solve or improve your product? (Engineering + Math!)

🍪 Example: Baking treats = measuring ingredients (math), chemical reactions (science!)
🎨 Example: Crafts = design, structure, and creative problem-solving (engineering!)
🛍️ Example: Selling products = budgeting, pricing, and profit (math!)
