💚 7 YEARS OF FIESTA MARKET 💚
Today marks 7 years since our Fiesta Market Grand Opening 🎉
While we opened in September of 2018, December 16 was the day we officially celebrated—and today feels like the perfect moment to reflect and look ahead.
When we first opened, we honestly NeVeR thought we could fill this 1,300-square-foot space…and now—we don’t fit 🥹💚
This market has changed me in ways I NEVER would have imagined. We’ve been through it all—the highs, the hard days, the learning curves, and the moments that tested us—but also the joy, the wins, and the community that carried us through.
And to know that all of these pictures show our very first customers—and that they are STILL part of our journey today… we are truly humbled. 🥹💚
None of it would even be possible without YOU—our loyal customers, our community, our family, and our incredible team. Thank you for 7 years of support, trust, and encouragement. You’ve grown with us every step of the way, and we’re so excited for what the future holds.
We’ve heard some rumors around town 👀 🥹😍🤩so we wanted to share the news directly from us. We are incredibly excited and beyond grateful to officially announce that we have purchased the former lumberyard for the future expansion of our GROCERY STORE!
Originally, we planned to wait to share this news until we had finalized contractor plans, layouts, and timelines (my fave thing in the world, not haha)— but with all the excitement about it happening around town, we wanted you to hear it from us and know what’s coming + who knows when I’ll get those plans done anyways 😝
With this new space, we’re hoping to create a better organized market, bring in more products, and open the door to even more opportunities for our customers and for our community. And let’s be real — we are also very excited for more square footage, because right now everything in the market is stacked on top of each other 😅
We’ve had a lot of great questions, so we wanted to answer a couple honestly:
❓“Why didn’t you just move into the building next to the market?”
We actually planned to at first — that was the original idea. But once we really looked at it, we realized that even with that expansion, it would have only doubled our space, and it still wouldn’t allow us to grow in the ways we are truly hoping to grow.
❓“Why didn’t you just build a huge market right after the fire?”
The honest truth is… we had NoOoOOoOo idea our market would become what it is today. At first, we thought it would simply be a small deli off the restaurant with a few ethnic grocery items. But thanks to this amazing community, it has grown into so much more than we ever imagined — and now it’s time for the building to match the new dream. 💥
We also want to be very real and transparent — this is not all going to happen overnight, and you’re not going to see a brand new market pop up in just a few months. 😝 We have three kids, full businesses, and a beautifully chaotic life, but we promise this: we WILL bring you along for the entire journey, every step of the way.
‼️And just to clear up any confusion — Plaza is NOT going anywhere. Our restaurant is staying right where it is, doing what it’s always done: bringing people together over good food, family, and tradition. 💚
We are deeply thankful for this community, for every guest who walks through our doors, and for the constant love and encouragement you show our family. None of this growth would be possible without YOU. We can’t wait to share more updates as plans come together.
