The owners and heart behind Heaton Pecans 🤍

Heaton Pecans has been a family business since 1975! Long before the store was here, the land was home to a peach farm. Over the years, it has grown into the Heaton Pecans we all know and love today — with family always at the center of it all.

🌳 Meet Heatie
Heatie loves farming, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and, of course, watching the Rebs play on Saturdays with his family! ❤️💙 He is incredibly proud of his family and proud of his girls for helping grow Heaton Pecans into the business it is today.

🎄 Meet Queenie
Queenie is the one who keeps the whole family in line! She has her own special shop inside Heaton Pecans, Chez Grandmere, filled with beautiful antiques, paintings, and plenty of fun Christmas finds. She absolutely adores her grandchildren and couldn’t be prouder of all her girls.

When she isn’t at Heaton Pecans, Queenie loves traveling with Heatie and is always ready to take on her next project — whether it’s planning a party, decorating a room, or dreaming up something new!

Heaton Pecans wouldn’t be what it is today without these two and the family legacy they’ve built. 🤍🌳

🌟 SPOTLIGHT: CADEY 🌟

Meet Cadey, President of Heaton Pecans!

Cadey joined the family business after graduating from the University of Mississippi, where she majored in Business and minored in Marketing Communications. Since then, she has played a huge role in growing Heaton Pecans into the business it is today.

During pecan season, Cadey is the one behind all of our corporate gifting and orders, making sure everything runs smoothly during the busiest time of the year. She loves being part of a family business and especially loves when her three boys get to come to the Pecan House, hang out, and see firsthand what their family has built.

When she’s not at Heaton Pecans, you can usually find Cadey starting her day with a long walk or run, spending time with her family, or enjoying a little downtime at the cabin.

And if you know Cadey, you know we couldn’t finish her spotlight without mentioning her unofficial title: the Beth Dutton of Heaton Pecans. 😂 Every family business needs one—the one who keeps everyone on their toes, gets things done, and definitely means business! But behind it all is someone who truly loves Heaton Pecans, her family, and the people who make this business so special. 🤎

✨ Spotlight of the Day: Ann Granville Maxey, better known as Annie! ✨

Annie grew up working at Heaton Pecans and has always had a special connection to Heaton Pecans. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with degree in Psychology and minor in Education. After college, she moved to Nashville, where she worked at Truxton Trust for five years before deciding it was time to come home and join her sister in growing the family business.

Today, Annie manages our wholesale accounts and works closely with retail stores across the country, making sure each customer is taken care of from start to finish.

Her favorite part about Heaton Pecans is the people she gets to work with and all the fun girls she gets to bring into the store each season! This year is extra special as Annie and her family are welcoming a new addition to the Pecan House—a baby boy arriving this January! 💙

Highlight of the Week: Meet Duck! 🌟

Duck has been part of the Heaton Pecans family since he was just 17 years old! He started out working on the farm for Mr. Heaton, and as the Pecan House continued to grow and get busier, Duck made the move to working there full time.

Today, Duck is our Warehouse Manager, but around here, he truly does it all! From driving the forklift and keeping the warehouse running smoothly to one of the most important jobs—cracking and shelling your pecans—Duck is a huge part of what keeps Heaton Pecans going.

When he’s not at work, you can usually find Duck hanging out with friends, BBQing, and watching football.

We’re so thankful to have Duck as part of the Heaton Pecans family! 🥜🏈
