The next chapter for Copper Bell Farm—

Copper Bell Farm is closing its doors for the time being, but a beautiful new chapter is beginning right here in Centerville, Indiana! 🥰

We have absolutely loved making handmade soaps, lotions, and baked goods for you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our small business over the years. You welcomed us into this community and shared in our joy of handmade goods, and we are so grateful for your kindness. 🥹

Truthfully, between homeschooling and running the farm, there are just not enough hours in the day. Farming takes an incredible amount of labor and overhead for very little return. Right now, I need to slow down and prioritize time with my family and my overall well-being. I might revisit this business down the road when life slows down, but for now, my focus is shifting to homesteading just for our own family. If we have anything to spare, we may still stick it in the farmstand, but everything with be cash only and on a first come basis.

Many of you know me as the girl with the dairy sheep, but my roots are actually in hair! I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2009, and this year I am officially restarting my career behind the chair, and I will be pouring my creative energy into my career as a hairstylist. This path allows me to stay flexible for my family while still serving our community. I would absolutely love to see your familiar faces in my chair! 😍

Hope is standing on what Jesus has already promised, knowing His Word is true and His victory is sure.

We don’t place our confidence in circumstances. We place our confidence in Christ.

No matter what stands in front of you today, God has the final word. His promises are greater than every obstacle, and His faithfulness never fails.

Because our hope is in Him, we don’t live waiting for victory—we live from victory.

"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." This quote emphasizes the importance of kindness and compassion towards others, reflecting the idea that our actions towards others are also actions towards God

Indiana Heat Alerts 🔥⚠️ Watches have been replaced with warnings as we are less than 24 hours out from the heat wave starting.

Pink: extreme heat warning
Orange: heat advisory

The type of alert isn't the biggest focus, but rather making sure that we:
✅drink lots of water
✅take breaks while outside
✅check on elderly neighbors/family
✅keep pets cool, provide shade & water while outside
✅don't walk pets on pavement during the heat of the day
✅if cooling off in the pool, make sure you use sunscreen

Note: This isn't the hottest weather we have ever had. It's summer, it gets hot here. This is still a really good wave of hot temperatures and high humidity. Please take caution. Our job is still to let you know about the heat whether it's the hottest or not.

For the alerts, you will see a mix of extreme heat warnings, and heat advisories. The difference is a matter of about 5°F in the heat index, plus how long the heat is expected to last. (Sometimes if a heat advisory goes several days, the NWS will replace it with a warning due to the long-nature of the event.)
