🎂 Another Hyper-Realistic Cake in the Books! 🎂

This one definitely isn’t perfect—and I’m not afraid to say it! THIS CAKE DEFINITELY GAVE ME TROUBLE! It has its flaws, but with every cake I make, I learn something new, and that’s exactly what makes this journey so much fun. ❤️

I had an absolute BLAST creating this Massingill's Meat Market cake, and I’m so incredibly grateful I got the opportunity to present it to them! 🥩🎂 Getting to turn a local business into a cake was such a fun challenge, and I’m already excited for the next one!

🎂✨ I’VE DECIDED TO JUST GO FOR IT! ✨🎂

I have wanted to get into hyper-realistic cakes for a LONG time, but honestly, the thought of trying them has been intimidating because I know they take A LOT of practice.

Well… I finally decided to stop waiting until I was “good enough” and just START! 🙌🏼

So, I made my very first one! And let me tell you… it is far from perfect. 😂 It has flaws, mistakes, and plenty of things I already know I need to improve. This was also my FIRST time ever working with fondant!

But you know what?

I AM SO PROUD OF IT. ❤️

It’s my first attempt, and I had SO much fun making it. And as they say… practice makes perfect! Every mistake is something I can learn from, and every cake is going to teach me something new.

So now I want to invite LUFKIN to be part of my next one! 👀🎂

I want YOU to nominate a small, locally owned business in Lufkin for me to make my next hyper-realistic cake based on their logo, storefront, or business!

🎂 The cake will be FREE to the chosen business.
💰 Please keep in mind the cost of materials are out of pocket, so it may be a few weeks before I do another one. ( Orders are always open and donations are accepted )
🏪 The business must be locally owned and located in Lufkin.
🚫 No big corporations or chain businesses.
🎁 The business will NOT know they were chosen until I present the cake to them in person!
🎨 The design will be based on my current skill level, so please keep in mind that these are practice cakes.
😂 And yes… they may be flawed. They may even be a little ugly! But I can absolutely guarantee one thing…

IT WILL TASTE GREAT ON THE INSIDE! 😋❤️

For this cake, I made a vanilla bean cake with coffee buttercream icing. ☕️🎂

The BER months are officially here, and you know what that means… PIE SEASON HAS ARRIVED! 🎃🍎🍁

Last Thanksgiving, Shut Your Pie Hole baked up a whopping 53 HOMEMADE PIES for Thanksgiving alone! 😳🥧 And that doesn’t even include all the pies that were ordered throughout the rest of the season!

So this year, we’re opening the books early! 📖✏️

These might just be one of my favorite treats I’ve ever made—rich, gooey brownie layers meeting soft, chewy cookie dough. These beautiful little brokies deserve their own moment. 💕
