The fact is, the produce industry is changing with as much speed as we’ve ever seen and steady, consistent and entrepreneurial governance has been our advantage. We believe that this industry transformation requires supply chain management and integration, and we have demanded of ourselves to provide this to our clientele. With proper investment in infrastructure and human capital, we are well positioned to do so. We’ve evolved from wholesaler to service provider to our current form as a Produce Supply Chain Integrator. As we reflect on our first 50 years, we believe we will continue to evolve to bring value, integrity and innovation to our clients for the next 50 years and beyond.
1980: Kenny Dunn was succeeded by his son, John Dunn
1986 : Became an original tenant of the Los Angeles Wholesale Produce Market (LAWPM)
1994 : Started import/export division, Ocean Pacific Marketing
1995 : Started consolidation operations in Los Angeles
1999: Opened operations in Santa Maria & Nogales
2000: Opened an additional facility 100% dedicated to consolidation, across the street from the LAWPM
2004 : Generating over $100 million in sales, employing 150+ employees
