More freshly picked zucchini

UPDATED POST: The 1st paragraph was clipped.

Our excitement about the zucchini and squash has been thwarted a bit after realizing that ALL of the big, green tomatoes have gone MIA. They weren't blown off by storms, and there are no remnants of them on the ground like a critter would leave had they eaten them off the vines. They are just GONE.

This will probably going to set back our hoped-for tomato harvest for 2026. The forecasted warm weather coming in next week will help the smaller tomatoes to ripen, and we will definitely have a great crop, but it won't be as early as normal. We are extremely disappointed. We will post pics as they come on. Thanks for your understanding.

Freshly picked in the dark.

Remember last month, when the Lone Jack Senior class had a community service morning, and several young ladies helped plant? They must have thrown some magic in with the plants as they went along, because we have a TON of perfect zucchini and yellow squash ready WEEKS earlier-than-normal!! It is here! Garden of Hope 2026 Harvest has begun!

Current price is 2 for $1, mix and match. Depending on availability, price may change.

Remember, all proceeds from the Garden of Hope go straight back to the community by helping provide funds for the mulepack weekend food program for LJ students, to purchase gifts for Angel Tree families during the holidays, to sponsor little league sports, to support education efforts for all Lone Jack students, and we partner with the Helping Hands Food Pantry and Pleasant Hill Food Pantry, too! We operate on a honor system and are open 24/7.

All of our produce is organic and grown on-site. We look forward to seeing you this season!

" We're planting in the rain, we're Planting in the rain". Nerdy, I know but all plants are in the ground except a few. Thank God!
