What an honor to set a table for 50+ guests and to feed them the harvest of dear friends on the land that they tend as a family. Thankful for these moments.

Come visit Terroir General Store one last time

This isn’t a goodbye, but a “see you soon”. Come visit the shop for one last time on Saturday, October 4, 10:00am- 3:00pm.

Want a little bit of Sunday magic at home after we close? Pre-order frozen, ready to bake cinnamon rolls and chai concentrate and pick them up on Saturday.

We will have baked goods, coffee, and really good deals on remaining inventory. We are also part of the Cozy Fall Book Crawl, hosted by Lock City Books, on Saturday so I will have Fran Parrish of Heirloom Soul Florals and local legend Jim Shultz joining me in store with their books and Fran’s flowers.

It will be a sweet day of community and lots of tears (shed by me). The perfect send off to a space that has meant so much to me. I am taking some time to soul search and figure out how to keep providing for our community in the years to come.

Bodega Supper Clubs will continue, although locations are TBD at this time.

The next Harvest Dinner will be at Buffalo Distilling Co. on November 6. Tickets are available on my website.

My Friends,

On September 8, 2021, we opened the doors to Terroir General Store with a simple dream: to create a space rooted in community, local foods, and heart.
Thanks to you- my customers, neighbors, and friends- this dream became a reality. You brought life into this vision, supported local makers, allowed me to share my food with you and turned Terroir into something truly special.

With a saddened heart, I am writing to share that I will be closing the storefront. Several factors brought me to this decision, some of those outside of my control. I was hopeful for a renovation and rebirth, however as a tenant of the space I am not in control of the current condition and future plans of the building we reside in. I look forward to the Bewley Building becoming a vibrant building in our downtown. The forthcoming purchase and renovations will secure this building as a functional piece of downtown Lockport for future residents. This timing of my closing was not planned, I find myself without an option to stay open with structural issues at hand. However, I am accepting it as a moment for personal growth and peace.
While this chapter is coming to a close, the community we have built will always be in play. I will continue to host specialty dinners at partner locations, do special events and markets, hold sales on the website and see you in many new forms.

We have two Bodega Supper Clubs scheduled for this month and seats are still available to both. I will also be hosting a Harvest Dinner at Buffalo Distilling Company at 860 Seneca St. Buffalo on October 2.

Our final day will be Saturday October 4 as part of the Cozy Fall Book Crawl and we’ll be offering coffee bar drinks, baked goods, and a shop garage sale of odds and ends inventory.

I will miss this place and the ability to see you all on a regular basis, this is our collective third space as well as my constant home while my life fell apart and was put back together. You were all so meaningful to me in these years and I am forever grateful.

Shop Update:
For the month of August we will be open Sundays only from 10:00-3:00.
With the peak of local harvest, Saturdays will be for the Lockport Community Farmers Market. Fill your baskets, hearts and bellies with the bounty of our community on Canal Street.

I will slowly be changing things in shop to better suit my longstanding vision for the store as well as meet the needs of the community. Thank you for believing in this little shop and in my passions.
