This Grocery Store created a Nightmareish Coronal Petrie Dish on Friday morning 3/20/20.
It opened at 6:00 AM, by 6:20 AM only 3 packages of toilet paper and a few packages of ground beef remained.
But the check out....Only managed by 1 checker. There were no regular check-outs open, only self-check. The store has approx 20 self-check registers available but only 5 were actually opened. There were more than 30 people waiting to check out. People were checking large orders themselves. My observations about the check out lines. People were not distanced to 6 feet. No direction from the store on customer spacing or distance. People waiting in lines were hoarding paper goods meat and other items. There was absolutely No citation or direction from store management. I asked if the manger was in and they stated “No.”
