PSA from the girls: 🐓 🥚

“It’s that time of year when we don’t have enough sunlight to produce eggs in abundance. Our production will slow due to this and along with our fall molting of our feathers. Don’t worry, we will be getting a higher protein diet to be sure we can keep up with our nutritional demands. Thank you for understanding ”

If you didn’t know, now is the time to cut and dry your hydrangeas before they turn brown. To preserve the color to its fullest, cut in the early morning and set them in water to dry in a cool dark place in the basement.

Speaking of Fall 🍁 🍃 🍂, for those of you who are already decorating for October 🎃 , we have autumn simmer pot, potpourri! All the smells of pumpkin pie and apple pie all in one. It’s like a warm hug and of course without any added chemicals scents. We have dehydrated the fruit ourselves and added cinnamon sticks, allspice, clove and ginger 🫚.

Gold Nugget carrots have entered the chat and look how gorgeous they are against Candy and Purple Haze. We know we feast with our eyes first when it comes to food so we are always selecting varieties that are delicious as well as beautiful.

We have our fridge stocked for this weeks market and more to come. Let’s hope the sun makes an appearance at some point to help out some of the veggies and flowers. We are hoping to have sunflower bouquets for your Labor Day events this weekend.

We are happy to do preorders for market pick up.
