Marine Corps League 1481 Grocery Grab!

Thank you to everyone who purchased a raffle ticket for the grocery grab event, because of you we were able to raise $3,450 to be given to the Marine Corps League.

The winner of the raffle happened to be a local Veteran, and made the selfless decision to give all of the groceries back to the Marine Corps League to help feed veterans, families, and those in need. A personal sacrifice to help others....we suppose that is what to expect from a former member of the armed forces.

Because of this, we gave them a head start and an extra minute to grab as much as they could. They were able to grab $1,984.25 worth of groceries! Combined with the raffle sales, you we had the pleasure of passing along a total of $5,434 of value to the Marine Corps, not including raffle ticket sales they did on their own.

Thank you to the Marine Corps League for allowing us this opportunity, and to all of the members of our armed forces, both past and present!

Finally, none of this would be possible without the generous support and participation from you, the community of Lincoln City! Thank you, and we can't wait to do it all over again next year!
