It’s a beautiful day to support local farms and food, with spring finally ready to shine! Let’s get right to it - it’s going to be a great day for the last market of the 2026 winter season. See you at the Waldorf School from 11-2 pm and thank you for being a supporter of local food all year long.

Mark it down - the LFM will be back in full force for the Summer Market in six short weeks, with Opening Day on Tuesday, May 26 back at our original location in Fletcher Park in Lexington center!

NOTABLE NOTES:
It’s a sign of spring when OVENBIRD CAFE brings back strawberry rhubarb hand pies; be sure to check out all their delicious baked goods.

BLACKEYED SUSAN’S SHEEP DAIRY is featuring robust lamb rib chops on sale for $19/lb, just in time for grilling season. In addition to her regular varieties of sheep’s milk cheese, Farmer Julie will have Tomme d’Arles available for $8 for an 8-10 oz package (regularly $12).

Lunch, anyone? CAPTAIN MARDEN’S SEAFOOD has lobster rolls, chowder, poke bowls, seafood salads and so much more. Bring home the best in fresh seafood, and prepared dinners to round out the weekend’s offerings!

Spring is finally springing, and the Small Yet Mighty Winter Market is ready for you. Stop by the Waldorf School this Saturday, March 14 from 11-2 pm and bring home great, local food from farmers and specialty food producers!

This Saturday we’re welcoming back BREAD OBSESSION with their fresh-baked baguettes, rustic breads and baked treats, and FOREST ROAD APIARY with specialty honey and honey products. Try their whipped honey on a piece of delicious toast, and lip balm to soothe at the end of winter!

COPICUT FARMS has freezers full of poultry, beef, and pork to roast, braise and saute, along with fresh eggs to shine in the morning. Check out CAPTAIN MARDEN’s SEAFOOD for fresh fish and also prepared meals like scallop risotto for when you’re craving delicious but don’t have the time to create it!

MY COUNTY MUSHROOMS will not be at the market this week, and BREAD OBSESSION will also miss the market due to staffing issues.

The entrance to the Winter Market is around the back of the Waldorf School; follow the signs and balloons!

PARKING
Parking will be available on Mass. Ave., on the marked spots on the semi-circle in front of the school and the school's parking lot on the upper right, with limited Senior and ADA parking available behind the school near the market entrance.

It’s going to be a sweet market this Saturday, February 14 as we celebrate the love for local at the Small Yet Mighty Winter Market on Valentine’s Day! You’ll find all you need to create a delicious feast at home, including ingredients for a special dinner, delicious lunch and desserts to boot, right down the road at the Waldorf School of Lexington from 11-2 pm. Check out the suggestions below for how to preorder from COPICUT FARMS and CAPTAIN MARDENS SEAFOODS!

Monthly vendors in attendance will be FOREST ROAD APIARY with local honey and honey products, and SILENT SEED with rare and tropical plants for your home. In addition to great produce, Farmer Dave’s will have scones and apple cider donuts for a sweet breakfast; combine them with COPICUT FARMS eggs and bacon for a breakfast of champions! CAPTAIN MARDEN’S SEAFOOD has fresh fish, prepared meals and delicious items, including the crowd favorite lobster roll! OVENBIRD CAFE will have special desserts and cakes, their iconic hand pies and focaccia pizza for lunch, and did we mention the brownie bites for the win?

CASBA FOOD & PASTRIES brings Lebanese specialities for mezze or a sweet bite, and FARFALLE ITALIAN MARKET will have fresh pasta, sauces and more. BLACKEYED SUSAN SHEEP DAIRY has an ever-changing variety of gelato flavors in addition to their great cheese and lamb; we love the lamb kebabs for a delicious stew for a winter’s night!
