Just like that, Summer Has Arrived! ✨🫐 Find our "Duke" variety of Bennett Blueberries on Saturday, June 13th, at the Historic Lewes Farmers Market from 8-12. Bennett Blueberries will also be available at other producer-only farmers' markets on Sunday. We post on our website the afternoon prior, which market(s) we will be attending the following day.

We anticipate Pick Your Own Bennett Blueberries to begin around mid-June. As a real working farm, we sell only what we grow. That means we must carefully balance harvesting for our producer-only farmers markets, keeping our crew working, and opening our fields for Pick Your Own. Our season is just getting started, and the recent cool weather has slowed ripening a bit so supply may be sporadic at first as Bennett Blueberries trickle into season.

A HUGE thank you to Drift Rehoboth Beach and Chef Jasie Schaeffer for hosting the Market to Table Fundraiser Dinner on June 2nd. It was a fantastic evening full of conversation, delicious and locally sourced food from HLFM farmers, and community! We are so grateful for our continued partnership with Second Block Hospitality and look forward to hosting Drift Rehoboth Beach, Bodhi Kitchen, and The Pines Rehoboth Beach at the Market Demonstration tent in August (stay tuned for more info!)

Join us at 10am tomorrow June 13th for a Market Demonstration with Executive Chef Justin Jordan of Henlopen City Oyster House!

Chef Justin will prepare a Risotto Bianco highlighting seasonal ingredients available throughout the Market, paired with a fresh lemon ricotta. The dish will feature yellow squash from Kalmar Farm, curly kale from Dittmar Family Farms, Tuscan kale and purple snow peas from Fox Briar Farm, and fresh garlic from Cosmic Dog Farm.

Known for showcasing the best of what local farmers have to offer, Chef Justin consistently creates dishes that celebrate the flavors of the season and the value of shopping local. Stop by the Demo Tent tomorrow at 10am to get inspired for your next Market meal!

Join us at the Historic Lewes Farmers Market this Saturday, June 13th from 8am–12pm at George H.P. Smith Park! 🫐🥕🥦🥬 Come out and shop for fresh local food, and connect directly with the farmers who grow it.

Bennett Orchards is back with the first blueberries of the season! Along with fresh blueberries, you'll find locally grown zucchini, summer squash, snap peas, carrots, fresh flowers, mushrooms, local meats, seafood, breads, pastries, and plenty more from 37 local farmers and producers. Stop by the Demo Tent at 10am for a demonstration from Henlopen City Oyster House , or enjoy Children's Storytime with your little ones.

The Wednesday Market is open tomorrow, June 10th from 8am-11:30am. Bennett Orchards will be there with the first blueberries of the season, so be sure to arrive early! Our sixteen farmers and producers will also bring a variety of fresh produce like summer squash, carrots, sugar snap peas and more, along with fresh flowers, mushrooms, honey and beeswax products, freeze-dried produce, pork, beef, lamb, breads and pastries, and plants!
