🌧️ Weekend Farm Stand Update🌧️

The weather is keeping us on our toes this weekend!

✅ Saturday:The rain looks like it will move out early in the morning, so the farm stand WILL be OPEN from 9am–7pm or until sold out

❌ Sunday: Rain is still in the forecast, so the farm stand will not be set out

🛒 We are accepting preorders for Sunday pickup for everything **except eggs**

📦 Orders will be ready by 9am Sunday and can be picked up at your convenience throughout the day

⏰ **Preorders close tomorrow at 6pm**

Update on our goose parents! 🪿🐥

Both babies are still alive and doing well!

The other little one is much more adventurous and prefers to wander off with the chickens, which is why only one baby is pictured here. 😂

It's been fun watching their different personalities develop already. One likes to stay close to Mom and Dad, while the other seems determined to explore the farm on its own terms.

Sooo...I know I said we weren't doing any markets this year... 😅

But we're making one exception!

🇺🇸 Deer Run Farms will be at the Lake Carroll Farmers Market on the 4th of July from **8:30 AM to Noon**.

📍 Common Event Area near the Candlelight Inn (29-11 Ironwood Dr.)

We'll be bringing a selection of our farm favorites and would love to see you there!

We're also excited to be set up next to Forever by Dawn- Permanent & Western Jewelry and Wildly Rooted Acres so be sure to stop by and support these amazing local businesses too❤️

🌧️ Farm Stand Update 🌧️

As long as the weather cooperates, our farm stand will be open this weekend as usual! If the rain decides otherwise, we'll switch back to preorders for the weekend.

We'll keep an eye on the forecast and let everyone know our plans by Wednesday evening.

Also...you all pretty much sold us out of peanut butter! 🥜 💚

We'll be firing up the peanut butter machine again this week to make a fresh batch, so keep an eye out for restock updates.

Enjoying each other's company over a bowl of fresh blueberry Greek yogurt🫐😋

Life on the farm keeps us busy, and there always seems to be another task waiting on the to-do list. Today, we slowed down for a few minutes, shared a meal, and simply enjoyed each other's company.

Sometimes those simple moments are the most important ones❤️

Picked up some A2A2 raw milk from Jersey Haven and turned it into homemade Greek yogurt.

Let me tell you... it is THICK. It is CREAMY. And it is absolutely delicious😋

There's something special about knowing where your food comes from and supporting the farmers in your own community. Small farms helping small farms—that's what it's all about. 🥛🐄

This week, I had the opportunity to do a phone interview with Big Radio and share the story behind Deer Run Farms. 🎙️❤️

We talked about our farm stand, our goats, our products, and why more people are returning to simple, traditional ways of living.

We also discussed why all-natural products shouldn't be dismissed without doing your own research, how to cut through the noise when evaluating ingredients, and why simpler is often better.

More and more people are paying attention to what they eat, what they put on their skin, and what they bring into their homes. Knowledge is power, and we believe informed choices lead to healthier families and stronger communities.

At Deer Run Farms, we're passionate about getting back to our roots—raising animals with care, creating products with simple ingredients, and helping people reconnect with where their food and products come from.
