Do you know what I see when I look at this picture?

Family.

I see strength. Survival. Hard work. Faith. Drive. And above all else—love.

Every person in this picture, in one way or another, has a servant’s heart. And when I think about why East 32 Meat Processing does what we do, it really comes back to this.

Family.

No, not everyone in this picture works at East 32. But when you choose East 32, you are choosing a family whose roots in livestock and agriculture go back more than 70 years.

It started with one man. And through the generations that followed, our family has touched agriculture from many different sides—raising livestock, working the land, processing animals, feeding families and learning firsthand just how much work, sacrifice and pride goes into putting food on the table.

And that’s something we don’t take lightly.

When you bring an animal to East 32, we know you aren’t simply dropping off livestock.

We know the early mornings that may have gone into it. The feed bills. The broken fences. The long days. The worry. The pride. And sometimes even the attachment.

You worked hard to raise it. Our job is to honor that work.

Will we tell you we’re the very best and that we never make mistakes? No.

But we will tell you this:

We will never lack the motivation, drive or heart to get better and do better for you!

Our mission is to take what you’ve worked so hard to raise and make it celebration worthy.

Because food has always been about more than eating.

It’s Sunday dinner after church.
It’s burgers after a ballgame.
It’s feeding a house full of people during the holidays.
It’s sitting around the table after a hard day.
It’s celebrating weddings, birthdays and new babies.
It’s bringing food when someone is hurting.
It’s celebrating life’s greatest achievements—and carrying one another through its greatest losses.

For generations, families have gathered around food to celebrate, grieve, laugh, unwind, reconnect and simply be together.

That’s why we don’t see ourselves as just processing your animal.

We see ourselves as being a small part of YOUR family.

And somewhere down the road, generations who aren’t even here yet may sit around a table and benefit from the agricultural traditions all of us are working to preserve today.

That’s what East 32 means to us.

Our family serving your family.

And every time you choose East 32, recommend us to a friend, buy something from our market or simply walk through our doors—you become part of our story too.

From our family to yours, thank you for trusting East 32.

We’ll keep working.
We’ll keep learning.
We’ll keep improving.
And we’ll never forget who we’re doing it for. ❤️

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Mid-Missouri Bank and our wonderful hosts at Mid-Missouri Stockyards for giving us the opportunity to be part of this year’s Ag Initiative Day.

We were honored to spend the day mentoring students from schools throughout our surrounding communities and sharing a little of what we know and love about agriculture and the meat industry.

Days like this are important. Agriculture’s future depends on the next generation understanding where their food comes from, appreciating the work behind it, and seeing the many opportunities this industry has to offer.

We are incredibly grateful to Mid-Missouri Bank and Mid-Missouri Stockyards for investing in our area’s young people and for allowing East 32 Meat Processing to play a small part in it.

We thoroughly enjoyed the day and are already looking forward to next year!

Thank you for supporting agriculture, supporting our kids, and supporting the future of our rural communities. ❤️🐄🌾

In Loving Memory…..🥩💕

There are some people who come into your life for a season, do what they were meant to do, and leave a mark that never really goes away. Bryan was one of those people for us.

When our family took over East 32, Bryan helped us transition the business from his family to ours. And he didn’t just hand us the keys and walk away….well maybe in the beginning…insert inside joke!

When nobody else would show up to work, Bryan showed up.

When a piece of equipment broke, something in the building quit working, or we simply didn’t know what to do next, Bryan was the person we could call.

There were days when this business felt like more than we could handle, and Bryan gave us the confidence to keep going—to push through just one more day. “It will be alright,” he’d say. Looking back, I don’t know if he ever truly realized how much that meant to us.

Bryan was quick-witted, crafty, hard working and kind hearted. He could also be sassy at exactly the moment you didn’t need him to be—but that was Bryan. Usually, before long, you realized he had taken your mind off whatever you were worried about.

And that man had the memory of an elephant.

He could tell you what happened on turn two at Lebanon’s Speedway during the hottest summer on record, when he blew a tire and nearly hit the wall. Then turn around and tell you how many animals Spring Valley killed during the winter of 1995.

He had stories for days, and he was one of the best storytellers you could ever sit and listen to. He had an opinion about just about everything, too—and he wasn’t afraid to share it. 😂 But most of the time, it was all in good fun.

He taught our son how to cut meat. He taught countless employees about the different cuts and why they mattered. And if you ever watched Bryan clean up an animal, you know there was an art to what he could do.

There is a piece of Bryan woven into East 32 that will always remain here.

Tonight, through the sadness, I can’t help but smile thinking that Bryan finally made it to the greatest finish line of all.

He may have crossed it a little banged up. Some parts worked better than others. But he finished the race he was given, and he completed what he needed to do here on Earth.

I hope wherever you are, Bryan, the equipment runs perfectly, nobody calls in to work, the race car has four good tires, and there’s somebody willing to sit down and listen to one more story.

Thank you for helping our family when we needed you.

Thank you for teaching us.

Thank you for believing in us.

And thank you for always showing up.

Rest easy, Bryan. Your work here is done. ❤️

Big news for small processors, farmers, ranchers, and LOCAL FOOD. 🇺🇸🥩

President Trump announced today that he wants to make it easier for small meat processors to serve farmers who want to sell their own locally raised meat directly to consumers without the current USDA-inspection barriers.

If this proposal moves forward, you best believe East 32 will be a resource for our local farmers and ranchers.

We would gladly work to feature local farms and locally raised meat in our cases, help promote the people who raised it, and give our community another way to KNOW where their food comes from.

And here’s the crazy part—we’ve already been working on ideas along these same lines for MONTHS.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with USDA inspection. In fact, there are situations where USDA inspection is important and gives producers opportunities they otherwise wouldn’t have. But there is also something powerful about giving a small farmer a realistic path to raise an animal, have it professionally processed, and sell that quality meat directly to families in their own community.

Right now, time matters.

When families have better access to locally raised, quality meat—and when their dollars can stay right here with local farmers, ranchers, processors, and small businesses—EVERYONE wins.

Better access to real food.
More opportunities for our farmers.
Stronger local businesses.
A stronger local food system.

We’ll be watching this one VERY closely.

And if it becomes reality, East 32 intends to be ready. 🥩🇺🇸🌾

Support your farmer. Know your processor. Know where your food comes from.
