Meet the Greens: Detox Support Mix 🌱

This week I’d like to introduce you to another one of my custom blends.

My Detox Support Mix.

I originally created this mix as part of a birthday gift for my cousin.

It combines collard, red cabbage, and mustard — a simple but beautiful blend that always makes me smile when I see it growing on the rack.

Collard and red cabbage are really the heart of this mix, creating a mild, balanced flavor with just a touch of warmth from the mustard in the background.

I often add a small amount of mustard to my blends because I appreciate the way it complements the other greens without overpowering them.

Nutritionally, this mix brings together a variety of compounds naturally found in brassica vegetables, including glucosinolates, along with nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin K, and antioxidant compounds. Brassicas have long been associated with supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes, which is how this mix eventually earned its name.
