Cherry Grove Farm is a diversified farm in Lawrenceville, NJ producing award-winning farmstead cheese from our own milk, grass-fed beef, and whey-fed pork.

Visit our farm store for more local goodies! Open 7 days, 10am-5pm! Our small herd of grass-fed Jersey, Friesian, Dutch Belted & Milking Shorthorn cows are raised on 240 acres of certified organic pasture land. We practice intensive rotational grazing and tread as lightly on our land as possible. Our cheese makers collect the milk daily and produce delicious, healthy raw milk cheeses that age right here at the farm. We raise heritage pigs (to use the whey from the cheesemaking process), Katadhin sheep, heritage laying hens and broilers. Stop by anytime to see our animals, watch us make cheese, or visit our farm store to see what’s new.

Happy Raw Milk Cheese Day!!🧀 Even though it’s spooky szn👻 raw milk cheese isn’t so spooky! Plus, celebrating couldn’t be more delicious.

Our raw milk cheeses uniquely represent our New Jersey pastures and the flora and fauna that live within. As the seasons change, our cheese does too! Things like fat content in the milk and the plants our cows eat all change with time and the seasons and we think it’s pretty neat to see that reflected in our wheels!

Some of our raw milk cheeses include Havilah, Havilah Reserve, Herdsman, Rarebird, and Toma. Come on by the store or see us at West Windsor Farmers’ Market in honor of raw milk cheese day and try some samples😋🧀

This weekend we have pumpkin hand pies! We have brownies! We have cheese biscuits!

Our first pumpkin dessert of the season 🥹🎃 made with house made pumpkin puree (yes, you can taste the difference!!) and delicious flaky crust. Those will be at all markets and in our store along with our classic brownies and cheese biscuits made with our Herdsman🧀. Happy Friday!

For those who know, Trilby is BACK!! And for those who are new here, meet Trilby! We only make this pasteurized washed rind in the late summer and fall in small batches. It’s washed in a wh***ey solution made with Dad's Hat Rye and wrapped in a wh***ey soaked local fig leaf. Boy oh boy is this batch delicious! It has started to form a beautiful cream line and it has notes of peanut and buttermilk, plus some earthiness from the wh***ey wash and a slight sweetness in the finish. This will be at markets THIS WEEK!!! (Farmers Market @ Christ Church tomorrow, Princeton Farmers Market Thursday, Highland Park NJ Farmers Market Friday, and Burlington County Farmers Market 🚜, West Windsor Farmers’ Market, and Schuylkill River Park Farmers Market this weekend!)
