We’re gearing up for our Tuesday Opener downtown Century Bank Park 9-12 and couldn’t be more Kentucky Proud to have Besties Biscuit Wagon serving up a match made in market heaven, The Pimento Pal, using our very own Waller Fields pimento cheese. Our farmers just stocked up The Old Depot for the weekend. Saturday morning Besties Biscuit Wagon will be out in the parking lot of the Depot with their amazing breakfast options! The market is open Fridays 12-5 and Saturdays 9-3.

Sourdough bagel???? I’d never had one before.

This is from Crann Bethadh Homestead. They had them at the Anderson County Farmers Market last weekend and I had to give them a try. What a great idea!!! Sourdough makes a terrific bagel!!

For this one I kept true to the “Simple is good!” mindset!!

I sliced the bagel in half and toasted the cut sides in a fairly hot castiron skillet with a good layer of melted butter.

There’s 2 farm fresh eggs resting between the bagel slices. A little salt, and a little pepper added some flavor. I cooked them over easy- but I didn’t leave them too runny. That makes for a really messy sandwich. Since I didn’t want to have to change my shirt after eating…this seemed smart.

Lastly a good slice of Colby-Jack cheese finished off this delicious sandwich!!!

Lunch today was just perfect!!!

And I’m definitely going to be having more of these delicious bagels!!!!
