It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Amy, a special member of our Cory’s Produce Farm Market family.
Amy first ventured into the market during our inaugural season, as a loyal customer. You could count on her stopping by just before closing time, on her way to feed her beloved horse, Tyrone. My personal favorite interactions from that first year were the days she would kick off her muddy chore boots at the door and shop for her produce in her socks. 🤣
The following season, she joined our team. Amy shared her weekends with us, even after working her full time job all week. If you were a weekend shopper, you likely came across her in a rocker on the porch, greeting customers and watching the world go by.
This past weekend, she chatted excitedly with customers and coworkers about her upcoming cruise. We are incredibly saddened she will miss that well deserved break.
We are incredibly grateful that Amy was part of our journey, first as a customer and then as a valued member of our team. She will be deeply missed by all of us.
Please join us in remembering Amy and keeping her son, family (human and four-legged), friends, and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.
Amy Diane Sier, 54, of Mardela Springs passed peacefully into Heaven on September 16, 2026, surrounded by her family at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford, Delaware, following injuries sustained from an automobile accident. We rejoice as Amy sits at the feet of our Savior, but our hearts are heavy.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 11am at Nelson’s Memorial Church in Hebron where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Rev. Charles Fiore and Rev. Jim Riley will officiate. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Amy to Hebron Lions Club, PO Box 514, Hebron, MD 21830.
