We are a family owned pick your own farm located 30 minutes south of Ballantyne, NC. Centrally located between Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Lancaster and Waxhaw. Primary season is from April thru July. For weddings/events check out our webpage for more info or check us out on Instagram

Prefer not to pick? No problem — we’ll have plenty of pre-picked blackberries and tomatoes at the farmstand.

🕣 Special Father’s Day Weekend Hours:
⭐ Friday: 8:30 AM – 8 PM
⭐ Saturday: 7:30 AM – 5 PM
⭐ Sunday: 8:30 AM – 5 PM

No appointments required
Cash or card accepted

📍 You can also find us at the Waxhaw Farmers Market on Saturday from 9 AM – 12 PM, loaded with blackberries and tomatoes!

🍓 Still picking strawberries… while already getting ready for next season.

You may see us removing sections of the strawberry field over the next few days. Don’t worry — strawberries are still going!

We are just starting the process of cleaning up parts of the field so we can get ready to plant again in October.

Yes, we remove the strawberry plants and replant every year. They go in the ground in the fall, grow through winter, and produce in spring.

Farming is funny that way — one season is not even finished, and we are already working on the next one.

Check in at the stand and we will point you to the best picking. 🍓

🌿 Blackberry season is in full swing at The Ivy Place Berry Farm!

The blackberries are looking great and there are lots of ripe berries ready to pick. They have that classic summer blackberry taste — sweet, a little tart, juicy, and so good fresh off the cane.

They are perfect for cobbler, pies, jam, smoothies, homemade ice cream, or just eating by the handful. They also freeze really well if you want to save some for later.

Bring the family, enjoy the farm, and fill a bucket with fresh blackberries.

🍅 Early Girl is a classic early-season tomato — great flavor, smaller size, and one of the first tomatoes to come in.

New Girl is the next iteration: similar style, great taste, and a strong summer tomato.

🍓🫐 Weekend Update from The Ivy Place!

The farm is loaded right now.

Come pick blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and flowers — and grab a few tomatoes from the stand while they last. 🍅💐

will be here Saturday around 10:30 AM with breakfast sandwiches and lunch.

We will also be at Waxhaw Farmers Market Saturday from 9 AM–12 PM with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, tomatoes, and flowers.

This is a Cherokee Green tomato — and yes, it is supposed to look like that when it is ripe. 🍅 Don’t be scared of the weird-looking tomatoes!

Cherokee Green is a green-when-ripe beefsteak tomato with a little yellow/amber blush when it is ready. The flavor is big, juicy, tangy, and complex — one of those tomatoes that reminds you why summer tomatoes are worth waiting for.

If you see an odd-colored tomato at the stand, don’t skip it. Some of the “ugliest” tomatoes are the best tasting ones.

Great sliced with salt, on a sandwich, in a tomato salad, or eaten right over the sink.

Come try something a little different from the tomato table at The Ivy Place. 🍅
