Let's get to know our March Featured Vendor! 🎉

Carmen Saum has been a nurse for over 16 years. After having her second son and deciding to stay at home, she started researching a more natural and holistic way of living. She was tired of companies that added chemicals and unhealthy ingredients in products and wanted to create products that actually worked and were healthy and natural. That’s when the OneBody OneMind product line was created in 2019 with an emphasis on high-quality ingredients, effectiveness, and affordability. It includes shampoo bars, soap, body butters including the incredible magnesium body butter (it has even been recommended by doctors!), lip balms, bath salts, natural bug repellent balms, and more.

Carmen is also a nurse coach - she is passionate about supporting people to achieve their wellness goals! A nurse coach is a registered RN who has received specialized training in coaching methods, communication skills, and helping their clients build healthier habits in a sustainable way. Carmen is thankful for nurse coaching because it allows her to use her nursing degree in an area she’s passionate about. Currently she is coaching moms who want to lose weight and keep it off for good, specializing in blood sugar control, whole food recipes, lifestyle change and accountability. She’s also recently received her multi-state Nursing License, which means she can also practice nurse coaching virtually out-of-state!

Carmen’s favorite thing about her business is helping others on their healing journey and spreading wellness to those around her. She is passionate about helping others learn that they can take control of their own health and become their own health advocates. She also loves that this business allows her more of the moments that she loves the most - being able to work while spending time with her boys and family. (You may have met them helping out at the farmers market!)

The primary goal of OneBody OneMind Wellness is to spread wellness starting with our local community, so if you’re looking to improve your health be sure to check out all that Carmen offers!

You've been waiting for a cooking class at the Keller Market House ...

Now you can learn to make Cambodian Kuy Tiew with Po Cambo Hot Sauce!

Come join Po Cambo to explore the comforting, flavorful world of Cambodian cuisine—specifically, creating a beloved classic: Kuy Tiew, or Cambodian beef noodle soup. This dish is often enjoyed for breakfast in Cambodia, but it's truly delicious any time of day.

Kuy Tiew is all about balance—light yet savory broth, tender beef slices, silky rice noodles, and layers of fresh herbs and aromatics. It reflects the heart of Cambodian cooking: simple ingredients transformed through patience, technique, and attention to flavor. Throughout this class, you’ll learn how to build the broth from scratch, choose and prepare the right cuts of beef, and finish the bowl with traditional garnishes like bean sprouts, scallions, fried garlic, and a squeeze of lime.

By the end, you’ll not only understand how to make Kuy Tiew—you’ll also have a deeper appreciation for how Cambodian dishes tell a story of culture, family, and togetherness. So, get your aprons ready, your taste buds curious, and let’s begin our journey into the warm and aromatic world of Cambodian cooking!

About the teacher:

Poe is a passionate Cambodian Chef and the creative mind behind a fiery adventure: crafting unique and unforgettable hot sauces. Growing up amidst the vibrant tapestry of Cambodian culture, I developed an insatiable curiosity for the intricate dance of spices, the symphony of aromas, and the depth of flavors that define our culinary heritage. Every dish tells a story, weaving together generations of tradition and innovation. As a Cambodian Chef, his mission is to honor these roots while daring to explore uncharted taste territories.

❄️ Once upon a time in the late winter, there would be a sign on our empty produce fridge that said:

“Check back in the spring!”

We’d bear through that toughest time of year for local produce, dreaming of spring spinach and strawberries.

But now - thanks to some amazing local growers who’ve figured out winter production for us - we have a selection of all local produce, all year long!

So stop in for all your staples, even in March.

And share this post with a friend who could use more Real Food in their life right now!

🎸 Music at the Market is back! Next up in our concert series, we'll welcome Eric Brace & Thomm Jutz to the Keller Market House on April 25th.

Join us for an intimate listening experience with these singer-songwriters from Nashville, TN!

🎼 Music at the Market: This series brings original music to downtown Lancaster, presented in the unique setting of the market house after hours. Sponsored by Broken Jukebox Media, all proceeds from the concerts will benefit the Keller Market House and the Lancaster Farmers Market.

About the Artists: The newest album from this formidable duo hit #4 on the Folk DJ Chart and placed in the top 5 on the EuroAmericana and Alt Country charts!

You'll savor their fluid acoustic guitar interplay and warm vocal harmonies as they sing songs from the heart, songs about insomniacs, mill workers, train whistles, astronauts, lovers, sailors and soldiers, songs about everyday struggles, heartbreak, and triumph. In a time of division, Eric and Thomm seek - and find - connection.

The Show: Doors will open at 6pm, and the show begins at 7pm. Eric & Thomm will play a few acoustic sets with a break in between. Snacks, beverages and local beer from Double Edge Brewing Co. will be available for purchase before and during the show. Music at the Market: Eric Brace & Thomm Jutz

🌾 When you think of local food, does that include grains? The Grains Grown Here campaign was designed to help with that!

🥖 The Midwest was once America’s bread basket, and a regional grains movement is seeing a renaissance of farmers invested in growing diverse grains for many reasons, including better water quality and soil health.

🦸‍♀️ But for diverse grains to work for local and regional farms, they need to be able to sell those staple crops, such as buckwheat, rye, dry beans, and more. That’s where shoppers can make a difference, and be a grain changemaker!

⭕️ Throughout March, look for Grains Grown Here shelf tags and red stickers to find products from local farmers and grain-focused food businesses near us. At Keller Market House, we're highlighting Local Millers- Regenerative Grains, Stone Ground Flours, Shagbark Seed & Mill and Stutzman Farms. While you’re shopping you can also grab a sheet of quick cooking tips for incorporating whole grain flour, whole grain berries, and corn grits into easy, nutritious meals.

Grains Grown Here is brought to you by the Artisan Grain Collaborative—a network of Midwest farmers, makers, advocates and eaters that are striving to strengthen this local grain movement. Learn more Artisan Grain Collaborative !
