I’ve had a few local stands reach out asking to be added to our Halloween Trail Map for 10/31! 🎃

So I thought I’d give y’all a place to share your stands!

If you’re a roadside farmstand, bakery, flower stand, produce stand, or something along those lines & plan to be open on Halloween, drop your info in the comments!

One of my girlfriends makes a lot of projects out of reclaimed fabrics. She's made me the cutest things in the past, so i asked her if she could sew some shopping totes for me to put up. They're made with a lot of time, love, and responsibly sourced fabrics.

I know people who shop from my stand are probably also shopping from farmer's markets and other roadside stands, and we NEED a good stash of totes in our car for that very reason🤣

If anyone is interested I'll have them placed in the stand. Thanks for supporting me, and other people invested in providing locally produced goods 💛

Planting a fall garden is playing one long, long game of chicken. Deciding when to mass harvest, dig up bulbs, and get things closed up is all dependent on when you think that frost warning is for real.

Jump too early and you've missed out on weeks of veg.

Jump too late, and you've lost out on veg you wanted to let ripen just a liiittle longer.

Too early, and you're bemoaning all the extra flavor you could've gotten from unripe peppers and tomatoes.

Too late, and all of those peppers and tomatoes are turned to mush by the frost.

It's a fun game🤪

Until you lose, that is.

With that being said, after looking at the very dependable weather forecast, I'm now planning on keeping the shack open until Oct 31st! Get your local veg while you still can :)
