Hop & Hen Farm Offering vintage-inspired goods, goat milk soaps and lotions, and fresh baked items all lovingly handcrafted on our farm.

We started the idea of Hop & Hen Farm after we rescued a few goats and got our first chickens back in 2015. Today, we have a small farm with chickens who free-range and goats that browse and eat brush and provide milk. We use what we produce in our own home, so you can be sure its quality is up to snuff. A small-batch producer, we make goat milk soaps, lotions, and eco-minded dry goods for use in

people's homes. We also provide raw goat milk for pet use, which you can order through our site, and pick up at our farm stand. On our website you'll find most of our products, and - with the exception of milk - we ship across the US, plus set a booth at festivals and markets during the year. Accepting wholesale, custom and retail orders, we can't wait to share Hop & Hen Farm with you.

If your morning didn't start with watching a baby goat being born, are you even trying?! 🐐🥰🐐

We're delighted to announce the latest addition to our farm, a little buckling to our sweet Sydney! He's a cutie, isn't he? Mama delivered him without any trouble, and she even waited until morning so we could be there with her. She's going to be a magnificent Mom! Both her and baby are doing great, bonding, and relaxing in the nursery.

While this little guy will not likely be available for cuddles at our Snuggle event this Saturday, you will get to kiss and love on all the other babies, so prepare yourself! Special fresh bakes are being prepared for that day, and the shop is currently packed with goodies. Pssst: Did someone say Hop & Hen merch? After many requests, I am indeed pressing some limited edition t-shirts that will be ready by the weekend, so nab yours and wear your support for your favorite goat farm :) 🐐🥰🐐

Is this a gorgeous day or what?! I know I am late getting the fresh bakes menu out to all of you, but it's only because you guys have kept me busy all day! And no particular order: cranberry white chocolate chip scones with an orange glaze, honey oat and sunflower sandwich loaf, sourdough bagels, granola, and brown butter cranberry white chocolate chip cookies. There's not much left, so hurry in! We close at 5.🤘

I will put a separate update about our tamale workshop from last night! What a tremendous time we had with all of you, and thank you for making our farm burst at the seams with smiles and good times. We are so lucky to have such a great community around us. 🥰🥰 So many thanks to our guest Chef Ernesto! He is a fantastic instructor and friend!

Well, well, welcome little ones!🐐🐐 Annabelle surprised us with twins, one girl and one boy! 🐐🐐

We knew she was close, but yesterday afternoon she delivered these darlings unassisted while we weren't watching! 🙃

Mama and babies are in perfect shape and are already champs at the nursing game. Announcing names in a few days ❣️🥰

Fresh bakes are ready, and in no particular order: Sprouted Oat Seeded Sandwich loafs, Sourdough Boules, Sourdough Bagels, our signature Browned Butter CC cookies (Callebaut dark chocolate, cranberry white chocolate), Granola, strawberry Basil scones, and ... Crossing my fingers through the one thing that isn't done which is croissants. It's so hot in this kitchen I'm having a heck of a time with the butter! 👩‍🍳👩‍🍳🔥

Stop on by, grab some eggs as well because the girls are laying machines right now! We had quite a bit of damage from the recent storms, and lost a couple of hundred foot tall trees, so pardon the dust!

Don't forget there are some cool things in the shop including some Dad-specific aprons (ideal for Father's Day!) and some assorted soap and lotions that might make him get his pamper on! Open until 5.

This was our morning, and how fortunate are we to get to spend it with such a great group of people? Many thanks to the folks Antioch Township for reaching out and arranging a special visit like this; we're honored to have hosted them and to share the stories of this property and its restoration. Can't wait for another visit soon!
