It’s shaping up to be a big family fun day on Market Square! ☀️

Join us this Saturday for our Nourish Kids program, the last one until May. Bring the little ones to learn, taste, and have fun at the farmers market.
Plus, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be happening downtown, and with beautiful weather in the forecast, it’s the perfect day to spend time in the city.

Meet Zoë - Nourish Knoxville’s new Chief Operating Officer!

We’re excited to welcome Zoë to the Nourish Knoxville team as our new Chief Operating Officer. Zoë brings more than 15 years of nonprofit leadership and operations experience supporting mission-driven organizations and helping programs and teams thrive.

Zoë is no stranger to Nourish Knoxville. Over the past three years, she has been involved as a volunteer, serving on the Board of Directors as Treasurer and most recently as Vice President. Through that experience, she developed a deep appreciation for Nourish’s work supporting local farmers, expanding food access, and building community through our farmers markets and programs. Now she’s excited to join the staff team and help support the operations that make Nourish’s work possible across our region.

Get to know Zoë:

🥖 Favorite Farmers Market Finds: I always grab a loaf from Mother’s Daughter Bread, fresh leafy greens, and pretty much anything that can make its way into a great salad. And when they’re in season, I never leave without peaches from Mountain Meadows Farm.

🥾 Hobbies: I love exploring the natural beauty of Knoxville and the Smoky Mountains, volunteering at the Knoxville Museum of Art, and spending time outdoors with my dog, Indigo. I also volunteer with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy’s Konnarock Trail Crew, joining week-long camping and trail maintenance crews on the Appalachian Trail.

🌱 What I’m Most Excited About: Supporting the incredible work our team does to connect farmers and our community while helping Nourish continue to grow its programs and impact.

📍 Where I’m From: I grew up in Kingsport, TN and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (go Vols!). After college I lived in Philadelphia (go Phillies!) and Washington, DC (go Nats!) before returning to Knoxville in 2022 to be closer to family. I’m a big baseball fan and love cheering on a hometown team, so I’m excited to now call Smokies country home.
