🌽🎉 FRIDAY NIGHT MARKET IS ALMOST HERE! 🎉🌽

The Kingston Farmers Market returns tomorrow evening, and we’ve got another great lineup ready for you!

We’ve got some exciting vendors joining us this week, returning favorites, fresh produce, baked goods, local products, and plenty of reasons to get out of the house for a few hours.

🍔 We even have food coming all the way from TWO ADDRESSES OVER from La Hacienda Restaurante.

That’s right.

Not everyone can travel across town like that.

Some call it dedication.

Some call it a logistical miracle.

We call it dinner. 😂

For the kids:

🪁 Build-Your-Own Kites are back again this week!

Last week’s kite builders did an outstanding job, and we’re excited to see what creations take flight tomorrow evening.

We’ve also heard reports that Billy has been testing prototype kites all week. Results have been mixed, and at least one ended up in another zip code.

🌽 Local Vendors
🍔 Great Food
🪁 Free Kids Activity
😊 Good People and Community Fun

Grab the family, bring a lawn chair, and come spend your Friday evening with us.

A quick reminder as attendance continues to grow: please be mindful when parking. We appreciate neighboring businesses that help accommodate visitors, but if you’re parking in a private business lot, please consider supporting that business as well. Let’s be respectful of our neighbors and help keep the market a positive experience for everyone.

Well folks...

After reviewing the owner's manual, consulting our engineering department, and wiping coffee stains off page 47, we've discovered something very important…

The Billy & Cousin Eddie Weather Interruption Machine™ has a 5-7 business day delay before results should take effect.

This would have been useful information BEFORE startup.

Which means...

There is a very real possibility that Billy and Eddie are responsible for the beautiful weather we're enjoying RIGHT NOW. 😂

Think about it.

The machine was fired up last week.

It made strange noises.

A few sparks flew.

Several gauges moved for no apparent reason.

And now... suddenly we're getting sunshine and warm temperatures.

Coincidence?

The scientists say yes.

Billy says absolutely not.

The machine remains operational and is now under close observation by:
☕ Coffee drinkers
🔧Unlicensed engineers
🐐 Billy
🤷 People who don't really know what's going on with our page.

At this point we're not saying the Weather Machine works...

We're just saying nobody has proven it doesn't.

We would also like to note that the owner's manual specifically warns that flipping too many switches at once may cause excessive heat waves. Unfortunately, nobody can remember how many switches Billy flipped so we will circle back after reviewing the camera footage.

Enjoy the sunshine, support your local vendors, and if this week's forecast is perfect, you'll know who to thank.

🐐 Billy🛠️ Cousin Eddie⚡ And the Weather Interruption Machine™

(Results may vary. Side effects may include sunshine, confusion, excessive optimism, and occasional heat waves caused by enthusiastic switch flipping.)

As an independent community market, we understand that some of the concerns regarding parking are valid along with the traffic at the light. Trust us, we see them too unfortunately we do not control the roads or how they are setup.

When we launched the Kingston Farmers Market, we had to work within the resources and property available to us. Expanding parking, purchasing additional land, and making major infrastructure improvements require significant investment, and before taking those next steps, we needed to see if the community would support and benefit from the market. We will call this “proof of concept”

This year alone, tens of thousands of dollars have been invested into improving our downtown area. The goal has never been just to host a weekly market. The vision is much bigger: revitalizing our community, supporting local businesses, creating opportunities for entrepreneurs, and bringing life back to buildings that have sat vacant and slowly fallen into disrepair.

The market is only the beginning. There are many more ideas, projects, and improvements planned for our little downtown as we work to bring it back to what so many of us remember and love. We believe Kingston can once again become a destination that our residents are proud of and visitors enjoy spending time in.

We are also hopeful that in the coming months we will be able to share additional positive improvements coming to Main Street and the community, projects and opportunities that we believe will help launch Kingston into its next chapter of rebuilding.

We have seen what can happen when a community comes together around a shared vision. The market is helping show what is possible, but long-term success will require community support, local business participation, and property owners willing to invest in the future of Kingston.

This is not an overnight project. It's a long-term commitment to rebuilding, growing, and creating a downtown that future generations can enjoy. We appreciate everyone's support, feedback, and patience as we continue taking those first steps together. We see you, we hear you and we are with you!

We will be shutting the market down at 7 tonight. Weather will be picking up shortly! See you next week

🌧️🚚 THE DIEHARDS HAVE ARRIVED 🚚🌧️

Well folks, the radar tried.

The clouds tried.

Mother Nature gave it her best shot.

But our vendors and food truck showed up anyway. 💪

These are the market diehards.

The kind of people who wake up at ridiculous hours, load trailers, haul tents, unload products, and then stare at weather apps every 7 minutes hoping for good news.

And they’re HERE.

🚚 Food Truck is serving up dinner.

🌽 Vendors are set up and ready.
New vendors and

🛍️ New vendors have joined the fun.

🎶 Music is happening.

🪁 Kids can build their own kites.

🍦 Free ice cream is waiting.

If a little rain scares you, that’s okay. The vendors will still be here holding the line.

If it sprinkles, grab a bite to eat, visit Mustard Seeds Thrift, and come back out when Michigan changes its mind 10 minutes later.

The market is open, the vendors are smiling, and we’re ready for another great night in Kingston.

Come support the folks who showed up no matter what the forecast said.

🌦️ MARKET WEATHER UPDATE 🌦️

We've been keeping a close eye on the radar and forecast for tonight's market.

Right now, it appears there may be some slight chances of rain between 4 PM and 8 PM. The good news is that what we're seeing looks pretty sporadic even though the radar looks horrible and we're hopeful most of it stays north of Kingston. If that changes we’ll be sure to update. With that being said some vendors may not come out pending the next couple of hours weather report but we should still have a full market.

In fact, if Mother Nature could hold off until about 8:01 PM, we'd gladly take some much-needed rain after the market wraps up. 🤝🌧️

Either way, the market is ON and we're looking forward to a great evening!

If a passing shower does pop up, don't worry:🛍️ Head over to Mustard Seeds Thrift and do a little shopping while our vendors bravely hold down the fort.
☕ Grab a drink.
🍔 Visit the food truck.
🌽 Check out the vendors.
😊 Wait a few minutes and see what Michigan weather decides to do next.

Tonight we've got:
🚚 Food Truck
🆕 Lots of New Vendors
🌽 Returning Favorites
🎶 Live Music
🪁 Build-Your-Own Kite Activity for Kids
🍦 Free Ice Cream from Mustard Seeds Thrift

As always, thank you for supporting local businesses and helping this community event continue to grow.
