Well update on our mommas that we're broodie, they did not hatch any of the eggs that they were protecting all month!! So we bought 8 new babies for them.. and sadly they rejected the new babies. So they are awaiting a new momma to take them in.

Well it's safe to say that our very first maple season went well, Butch produced over 5 gallons of Maple syrup in about 40 days time, and we are HOOKED. I absolutely love the color difference and.... I know all of the ingredients in it ❣️

So our rebel 'hallway girls', as we affectionately call them, because they'd rather hang out in the hallway than cozy up in the coop with the rest, have decided to go broody one by one... and honestly, We don't even know how many eggs are hiding under them!
They've been egg-xcluding us from collecting all month, so want to take bets on how many tiny chicks will be wobbling around next week?
