Wow! Thank you, Kechi and our surrounding communities for coming out and supporting your local market! The rain tapered off and the afternoon was beautiful!

We had many messages about the rain and market being open, so here's what to expect this season:
Market will be held rain or shine, EXCEPT in the most extreme weather like hail, severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, or extreme lightning. (Or Possibly severely high heat index.) But tune in here for any potential cancellations. We will post here first!
If there's no post, we will have a market. 😁👍

Of course every vendor has to make their own decision whether to attend on rainy days. And we had NINE vendors this week! We look forward to Kansas Cattle Co. and Griffith Family Farm joining us next week June 25th.....Beef, Chicken, Pork, and Lamb!

Kechi Farmers Market on Thursdays should be on your weekly schedule! We hosted 8 vendors last week, and this week, June 18th, brings TWO new ones! 😁

Let Him Cook International Eatery is Wichita's hottest new food truck, and Josh will be HERE, June 18th, and AGAIN on July 2nd!! All the local "food critics" have weighed in, and high praise is the verdict! Come and taste what the fuss is all about! Menu in pics 👇

Next, we have Kansas Cattle Co. RETURNING to Kechi Farmers Market this week, just in time for Father's Day Grilling!! Get that special dad in your life some KANSAS BEEF. ♥️ Welcome back, Nicole!

We hosted FIVE amazing bakers last week, bringing everything from cookies and cinnamon rolls, to multi grain and sourdough breads, scones and English muffins!!! Early sellouts of many items!

Don't forget the PRODUCE! Jack Pappan is back, last week bringing summer squash, zucchini, onions and 3 varieties of potatoes!! And of course our market manager, Sandy, brings onions, cabbage, farm fresh eggs and more!! More seasonal produce coming!
(Like tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumber,& more)

We have MORE Vendors planning to come this summer, so stay tuned for more information! Thursdays thru September, 4-630pm Kechi UMC parking lot 👍

Thursday, June 11th Market Update!
We host our first food truck, Carne Asada Jalisco!

And PAPPAN'S FRESH VEGETABLES returns for the 2026 season!! Sandy Acres with produce, fresh eggs, and bread.

Holly Creek Farm is coming with a new sourdough rye and WARM cinnamon rolls and more!
Daisy Chain Farm Stand returns with mini coffee cakes and DOG TREAT samples to any 4 legged customers!

We will also welcome two new vendors for their first market, Butter and Bliss-featuring banana bread, AND With Faith and Flour will debut with sourdough cookies, sourdough scones, and sourdough cinnamon rolls!! This is a short list of vendors who have RSVP so far.
***Entirely possible to have MORE Vendors***

Come on out! 4-630pm, Thursdays thru Sept. 4533 E 61st St. N at Kechi United Methodist Church parking lot!
Note: Customers enter thru East driveway (tall waving sign), and Vendors only enter thru West driveway.

We will welcome our first food truck of the season this week, June 11th! You may have seen him around Kechi before!

Carne Asada Jalisco will be at our market to tempt you with tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos and more!
Did you know they have homemade cheesecake? 😁

They will also be attending on June 25th and July 9th
Come and welcome them back to Kechi and support your local market and all the vendors! MB

A belated but heartfelt Thank You to all the loyal customers who braved the intermittent sprinkles on our "Opening Day" last Thursday! Our small group of vendors felt appreciated and supported. Thank you!!
This next Thursday will bring a few more vendors, including the return of Pappan's Fresh Produce. More details to come.
JULY brings an opportunity to help our Kechi Arts Council gather art supplies to benefit the Wichita Children's Home! We will have a box to drop off new art supplies each week of JULY. See flyers below for a "wish list" for the kids. (Also a drop off box at Jump Start!) Thank you in advance!

It's almost 4 pm and we have 4 vendors here! The sprinkles are intermittent and the worst of the weather is sliding East of here!
Baked goods like bread, muffins, , cookies and some plants, onions, a couple of cabbage!

Please come support these brave vendors! Ten customers already at 4pm
