And our winner for the 50/50 split the pot is Renee Graves!!! Being the amazing person she is, she donated her half of the pot back to CGHF!! We were able to donate $136 to an amazing youth mental health organization!

A lot of people ask what can they do to change the narrative in Kankakee.
Well, I know one thing you absolutely can do. Show your support for the CGHF healing.
(Children of God House of Fellowship Healing)
This local Kankakee youth mental health organization is teaching children how to process trauma in positive ways. Showing them how to cope and move forward in healthy ways, through the arts.
There is a mental health pandemic in this city, as well as our country.
The resources are lacking. There are far too many youths who turn into young adults who find themselves in situations that are detrimental to their wellbeing because they never learned to take care of their mental health.
We may be struggling to reach the people doing the shooting, the people stuck in abusive relationships etc. BUT we can do our best to reach the ones growing up in this environment, and help to show them that they can be the cycle breaker.
Please consider spending a $1 for a ticket or $5 for 6 tickets.

Have you ever heard of CGHF Heals?

I just want to tell you a little about this amazing youth mental health organization.

Through the arts they are helping youths to work through trauma. Encouraging them to use their musical, poetic, artistic, creative talents as an outlet. Recently, they sponsored 10 youth vendors at the Kankakee East Side Market and helped in showing them how to take their abilities and generate an income.

I would like to make a large donation to this wonderful 501c3 non-profit, so that they may be able to continue their works with at risk youth.

I will be having a 50/50 split the pot drawing. 50% to the winner and 50% to CGHF. Tickets are $1 or 6 for $5.
