Howdy folks! If you’re looking for some good old-fashioned, small-town fun this weekend, Joliet is throwing a massive celebration for our country's 250th birthday this Saturday. They’re pulling out all the stops with zip lines, rides, local vendors, and a bunch of food trucks. To top it all off, there's a live band, Stormz, playing in the evening, and you can find us right up at the community center serving up fresh Quesabirria Tacos made with local beef and street corn for supper. Hope to see y'all there!

We have heirloom rhubarb root starts available again from our friends at Sand Creek Farms in Glendive! The mother plant from these root starts is over 30 years old, never sprayed with a chemical, and has produced offspring for hundreds of rhubarb plants across Montana. We love to hear these stories from the farms that we work with about the products they produce and the history behind it. If you are interested, please feel free to message us or give us a call at the number listed in the poster to coordinate pickup or delivery. Thanks for all your support for not only us, but the producers that we work with and being part of the history of food we eat grown right here in Montana!

Garden update!

I just got back from a wonderful workshop/retreat near Emmigrant where I met with a diverse group of leaders in the local food movement here in Montana. It was a time to reaffirm our mission to bring local food to the rural towns that we go to, and figure out ways to serve them better.

Many thanks to Hopa Mountain for the invite and the Blank Foundation for the amazing hospitality, as well as to all of those who shared their story and journey, giving me much needed inspiration to continue our work. We are looking forward to a great season, and as always, we are grateful for everyone ssupport! See y'all soon in a town near you! 🙂
