Unfortunately, we are closing the Farmstand a bit earlier than intended this year. The crazy fast storm that came through yesterday ripped our tent to shreds. Bent the legs, ripped the canopy, the whole nine yards. We had intended to make Swappers weekend our last for the season, but alas, Mother Nature had a different idea.

We will be spending our football season enjoying time with our family and relaxing. Sometimes it’s hard to remember to slow down; we were literally handed a sign.

Thank you, neighbors, for all your support over the past few months. It’s been a pleasure baking and growing food for you.

🍞 I’ve been wanting to switch over to a glyphosate-free flour for a while now, and it’s finally time! My first round of sourdough that will be glyphosate-free!! It took some time to get my starter to be completely on the new flour, and it’s ready to go. I can’t wait to see the results of this. The flour is so obviously different than what we have in the States (this flour is imported from Italy), and the dough has worked up perfectly. I’ll have 3 loaves out on Friday 🍞

~ Brioche Chocolate Chip Sourdough - A savory inclusion bread with semi-sweet chocolate chips and a whole lotta butter. 🧈

~Sourdough Sandwich Bread - Our classic original sourdough sandwich bread

~Peach jam - Made with fresh local peaches from Legend Hills Orchard and Farm Market, it’s the perfect summer jam.
