Strawberry update and information-

The plants have many blossoms and are starting to form berries! They are looking good! More strawberry updates to come.

West Bend Market- We will be attending the farmer’s market in downtown West Bend this season. We will not be there until June.

Farm store information- We are only open on Saturdays (9am-4pm). We are just starting the season and do not have enough product to sell through out the week. We will update our days of being open starting in June!

Open today with asparagus, rhubarb, milk, eggs, and variety of meats. Here till 4pm. Enjoy the beautiful weather today!

Important strawberry update- so far so good!🍓

After 90 hours of frost protecting using roughly 810,000 gallons of water, we saved the strawberry crop. It was a rough two weeks! Some nights the temp dropped to 20 degrees in the strawberry field. We’re probably not done with frost protection yet, but looking forward to the warm up ahead! We will keep you updated as the upcoming strawberry season approaches.

From planting to irrigating, this week has been busy! We started off getting our 1st round cole crops transplanted. Then the last couple of cold nights meant we needed to irrigate the strawberries to protect them from frost.
