Bacon makes the world go 'round & makes EVERYTHING taste good! Claus gets in fresh pork bellies every week (1st picture), trims them, cures them, hangs them from meat hooks & smokes them (2nd picture), & then we slice them to serve to customers (3rd picture). Claus uses a mix of hickory & oak sawdust in the smokehouse bin, so it always smells like a campfire in here. NO fake liquid smoke pumped in for the aritificial smell & flavor, like grocery store bacon. If you have not yet tried our bacon, you are definitely missing out!

Reminder that after tomorrow, we will be closed for our 3-week annual shutdown. If you forgot, you still have tomorrow, Saturday, April 4 during regular Saturday hours of 8 am to 3 pm, to come in and grab some things for the holiday weekend & to tide you over until we are back open. I am taking Claus to the airport on Sunday, so the Metzgermeister will be out of the country! Wishing everyone a blessed Easter & safe travels!

Just a reminder to call in your Easter orders ASAP, especially for Easter hams & fresh or smoked Kielbasa. We will be closing down for our annual 3-week shutdown starting Easter Sunday, & will reopen on Tuesday, April 28. We always try to run out of items before our shutdown, so if you don't have an order in for Easter, it is first-come, first-served.
