🍫☕ A LITTLE TASTE OF SWEET ESCAPE IS COMING TO PENNSYLVANIA! ☕🍫

We’re excited to be part of the Pennsylvania Chocolate & Coffee Festival this weekend, and we’re bringing something extra special with us! ❤️

At Mediterranean Basil Salt, we’re always looking for ways to make good food even more exciting, and our Sweet Escape Dessert Seasoning just got a delicious upgrade! 🤎

And here’s the exciting part… we’ve upgraded our recipe by replacing the cocoa powder with Callebaut chocolate from Wieze, Belgium 🇧🇪🍫! The result is a unique blend of warm spices, chocolatey goodness, sweetness, and just the right touch of sea salt.

Last day of the US Oyster festival! One of our favorite events. We booked this show as one of our first as the new owners of Mediterranean Basil Salt…come out we’re here til 6pm!

Five years ago, we had NO idea this weekend's festival existed, yet we have lived in the area for almost our whole lives thus far.
Need something unique and fun to do this weekend? Meh, you probably have plans. BUT if any of them fall through, consider coming to the US Oyster Festival in Leonardtown at the St. Mary's County Fairgrounds.
Don't like oysters? That is okay - neither do we really! But there are lots of other things you can do here. The music, the food, the exhibits, the vendors, the NATIONAL OYSTER SHUCKING CHAMPIONSHIP (who knew right??), and more!
Come say hi and grab some seasonings for your oysters! We will be in between the music pavilion and the raw and scolded oyster building!
Be sure to bundle up though a bit - it looks like it might be a little chilly! 🥶

Dinner was yummy!! Scored this steak (pre-seasoned with our OG Mediterranean Basil Salt) for $3! Mixed together some zucchini, mushrooms, onion, olive oil, and our Basil Salt again then sautéed them. Added the rice in the last few minutes. 😋😋😋

Sometimes we have to stop and take a moment to appreciate just how blessed we truly are. 🙏

Every order, every customer, every kind word, and every bit of support over the years has helped our little business grow in ways we could have never imagined. Knowing that our seasonings and our mission of “Making Healthy Taste Good” are reaching people all the way across the country and out to Hawaii is truly humbling.

We give all the glory to God, and we’re so incredibly thankful for every single person who has supported us along this journey. You’re not just buying seasoning from a small family business — you’re becoming part of our story. ❤️

I wish I was a duck today. 🦆💦
We’re here! It’s raining! But we’re here! Along with a few very dedicated visitors! Are you looking for something to do outside today? Do you want to ride home with soaking wet shoes, socks, and pants?🤣🤣😂😂 Then come on by for the last day of the 2026 National Apple Harvest Festival and you might be able to score a great deal on unique crafts and food!

Despite the rain the festival is open. We can't wait to see everyone today!

🙏❤️ ALL GLORY TO GOD! ❤️🙏

It’s not every day that we get to share a moment like this, and honestly, I’m not even sure it’s ever happened before in the history of our little family business!

For the first time since we started this journey, we have officially SOLD OUT of our flagship Mediterranean Basil Salt seasoning here at the Bloomsburg Fair’s Covered Bridge Festival! And not only did we sell out, but we stocked THREE TIMES our normal amount for this show and still managed to run out. We’re honestly still trying to wrap our heads around it! We’ve been blessed with two amazing shows this weekend and we’re also finishing up our last weekend at National Apple Harvest Festival to boot!

But as exciting as that is, what makes this moment so special to us goes far beyond the numbers, the sales, or an empty table.

It’s about people. It’s about kindness. And it’s about the blessings God places in our lives when we least expect them. ❤️

These two amazing young people in the picture came by and purchased what was left of our Mediterranean Basil Salt, helping us sell out completely. We are so incredibly grateful to them, and we wanted to take a moment to recognize them and say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! Also as a cute side note, they said this was actually their first time having their picture taken together, so we also add a special prayer of blessing over their future 🙏🏻

Running a small family business is not always the beautiful, rewarding journey people see from the outside. There are tremendous sacrifices, long days, financial pressures, and struggles that take a toll on you physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually. There are moments when you’re exhausted, when you question yourself, and when you wonder if all the time, energy, and sacrifice are really making a difference.

And then God sends you a moment like this. 🙏

A moment that reminds you to stop, take a breath, count your blessings, and remember that there is still so much good in this world. A moment that reminds you that behind every transaction is a person, behind every small business is a family, and behind every blessing is a reason to be grateful.

We never want to take a single customer, a single purchase, or a single opportunity to share what we’ve worked so hard to create for granted. We know there are so many wonderful small businesses out there working just as hard, making sacrifices, and praying for their own little victories. So to experience something like this leaves us feeling not just excited, but truly humbled.

To everyone who has supported Mediterranean Basil Salt, shared our posts, stopped by our booth, told a friend about us, or welcomed our seasonings into your home and onto your family’s table — THANK YOU! You are the reason we get to keep doing what we love, and we never want to lose sight of that.

And to these two wonderful young people, thank you for being part of a moment we won’t soon forget. You have no idea how much we appreciate you!

We give all the glory to God, because we know that every good and perfect gift comes from Him. We pray that, no matter how much this little business grows, we always remain grateful, grounded, and faithful to the purpose behind it all.

As Matthew 5:16 reminds us, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

That’s what we hope to do — not just make healthy taste good, but to share a little light, kindness, and love along the way.

When your friends love your seasonings so much, they bring them on vacation with them!
Our seasonings do make the perfect traveling companions. They go with the flow, don’t stay up late, make very little noise, and don’t argue or complain!
