My overgrown pumpkin patch is looking like a meadow. 😅 Only a few pumpkin vines survived this takeover. I'm not mad about it. I guess this area really wanted to be a natural pollinator garden. I think it needs a tiny frog pond hidden in there somewhere.

This garden is a mess but it's coming together! Added a special arbor. This was our wedding arch, but by my brother in law.. who also built the greenhouse frame. 😊

After clearing the jungle of weeds that took over in a few short weeks - I found some veggies! Now that the weeds aren't choking them, I'm sure they'll have a growth spurt next few days.

Grapes are starting to vine, blueberries are turning blue, peaches and nectarines are getting big, and even my little lemon plant has cute little buds! 🥰 Out of the 14 fruit trees recently planted - only two are struggling to adapt to their new home.

Bummer that only a few pumpkin seeds popped and not a single corn came up! Too late to reseed the corn, so maybe I'll have better luck next year.

Overall - I'm happy with year #2 in the new (and recently expanded) gardens and mini orchard.

Seeing a lot of green popping up already. After the cold, rainy weather lately - these guys are going to thriveeee in the warm sun next week. So excited!
