Saying goodbye is so hard when you hold a lifetime of memories so near to your heart. I had some of the best times of my life here. Working side by side with my dad and family. I'm grateful to say I didn't have a single friend who didn't lend a hand or work alongside me at the bakery. Those moments will forever be etched in my mind, especially the final year when life presented its toughest challenges with the loss of my mom. I wish we could have turned back time or charted a different course, but life's twists and turns led us down a new path. My dad was such a huge part of Hyde Park and the community. Born and raised here, he worked so hard for almost 45 years baking and feeding the neighborhood. I know he misses the camaraderie of seeing everyone, feeding all who came out back to visit. Standing and laughing around “the bench”. He enjoyed it so much. Now he gets to be a full time papa and enjoy life.
Every ending marks a new beginning, and ours has finally begun. Thank you, BC Bakery, for the memories; you will be deeply missed by all.🥖🇮🇹♥️
