Snow days over holidays are amazing here at the farm. This momma's heart is full watching her very cared for teen farm hands relax and enjoy the snow while she thinks warm thoughts working on the 2025 season paperwork and beginning preparations for the 2026 season.

How are you spending your snow day?

As the holiday comes to an end, we want to wish all a Happy Thanksgiving from our family to you! Without our faithful customers, we wouldn't still be here. We are grateful for each one of you!

We spent the day together as a family of 6 traveling, laughing, playing games, and eating too much delicious food. We are so blessed!

We are already starting preparations for next year and are looking forward to serving you!

What are you most thankful for this year?

If you haven't taken a moment to step outside and check out the sky tonight, you should! The God of wonders and creation as painted it with dancing lights and a beautiful display!

The night is still early, so enjoy and be blessed!

Slowly and steadily, we have been wrapping up the year and harvesting the lasts. Today, it was Brussels sprouts! Let us know if you want a bag ($5/1 lb large and $3/1/2 lb small).

Also, any remaining cabbage is $3/each for a small $4/each for medium/large. A hard freeze is predicted for this weekend, and they won't survive. We would love them to be enjoyed by our customers!

All products are available at the farm only. We can take cash or check now, but not cards anymore!

We look forward to serving you!

The last harvest of peppers happened today. I know a frost isn't predicted for a bit yet, but we are slowly putting things to rest, and it was their time!

Contact us to get small and large quantities of a variety of types of peppers!

We still have the tastes of summer of cucumbers and tomatoes and zucchini and the tastes of fall of beets and carrots and squash and pumpkins - lots of choices still!

Also, reach out as soon as possible if interested in a turkey! Processing will be happening soon!

We look forward to serving you!

Monday morning farm harvest ramblings.....

Spring is usually my most favorite time of the year.

The new growth, the seeds and seedlings going into the ground, the excitement for the season to come, the feel and smell of fresh tilled soil...all of those things and more have always given me energy and joy and encouragement. This year was no different.

Summer, markets, preserving, and the bounty bring hard work and blessed customers and full shelves. I can't not mention all the blood and sweat and tears that go into farming. Challenges arise, and perseverance comes, and before too long, we arrive at fall.

Fall is usually hard for me for many reasons. This season is different. Maybe it is the family circumstances we are walking through right now that leads to this difference, and maybe it is age. But, there is a peace this year. As the season is winding down and plots are being put to rest, the transition is easier and my heart is full. I am embracing the coming rest (and even taking time to rest now despite the beautiful sunny weather). I am slowing down and stopping and enjoying this day and this week and this season. I can finally see the gift of autumn and the beauty that comes after a full and busy season.

All of that to say, I'm growing and being stretched. It is beautiful and painful all at the same time. For now, I will sit on my wagon full of harvested goods and enjoy the breeze and views and sounds.

You can find us this week at the farm. We are available by appointment and on Tuesday from 1 pm to 6 pm and Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm. We still have a large quantity of farm fresh goodness!

We look forward to serving you!
