I'm still over here enjoying all things fall!

We still have lovely cabbages in the field. These ones pictured were harvested for a customer. Coleslaw, sauerkraut, egg roll in a bowl.....the list goes on!

I made pumpkin cookies after not making them for a few years. They have been a hit.

It was another gorgeous day on the farm. Feeling so blessed right now with beautiful fall days to spend outside.

The last of the green beans were picked today. The gorgeous weather gave us more! We also picked some gorgeous heads of broccoli. We have lovely lettuce, kohlrabi, kale, leeks, potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, a small amount of garlic, a few cucumbers, a few zucchini, winter squash, pumpkins, and a few tomatoes left.

The beauty of the 1st frost is breathtaking. Everything covered in a layer of white beauty that melts as the sun comes up. Creation is so beautiful!

We have been winding down our season and this morning is a reminder that winter is coming. We still have things to get done before the depths of winter hit.

Quick! Hurry! The night is still young!

Did you take care of your outside water spigot by unhooking the hoses? Did you protect 1 way or another your plants you want to keep? Did you cut any last minute tender flowers forplants! Did you harvest or protect any last tender crops you want to save?

Now is the time to do it! It looks to be a gold night that could kill all tender olants!

What a rainy day! It has been a super productive day though! What do I do on a fall icky weather day besides try and not go crazy, you may ask?

Process end of season produce!!! I tried a recipe given to me by a customer this season called ginger pickles. They were so delicious I am pondering starting another batch. I also tackled some tomatoes - 16 quarts and 2 pints of stewed tomatoes.

We still have broccoli, green beans, a few tomatoes, cabbage, kohlrabi, leeks, beets, salad greens of lettuce, arugula, kale, chard, a few peppers, and so much more.

Green beans! Green beans! Come and get your green beans!

We picked 10 baskets of beans yesterday as the sun was preparing to go down. They are tender and delicious, a perfect way to end the season. It looks like a cold snap is coming which will take out the beans. This is most likely your last tastes of summer!

We are open by appointment, so reach out to schedule a time to stop by and see us. Don't forgot to grab broccoli, cabbage, and other vegetables as well!

It's a lovely windy Monday!

We have beautiful broccoli heads for sale! Planting them later than what we wanted to unexpectedly saved them from disease during that month of rain. One can never predict what the weather will do!

We also still have tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, some peppers, kale, lettuce, arugula, lots of leeks, onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter squash, pumpkins, and more! Reach out and let us know if we can help you!

Sundays are for relaxing!

Some days that looks like church and a nap.

Some days that looks like a short drive and reconnecting as a family. Today was 1 of those days and so worth it!

Watching the sun rise, pickle ball, watching a softball game, a 3 mile hike, fishing, and planning a home cooked meal, and ending the night planning to watch the sunset driving home.....

The slower end of season pace is good for my health and excitement for the next season.

We are loving these fall days on the farm. I caught the start of the sunset as I was grabbing the egg bucket to collect eggs. We are working on completing as many projects as possible while the weather is gorgeous.
