Democracy requires participation. Your local elected officials are the pipeline to your state representatives.
Today, October 19th, is the first day to early vote in the upcoming election.
It is no exaggeration to say that this election will determine the direction for a generation.
If you want clean air, clean water, protected national parks, women’s rights, immigration reform, the end to unnecessary wars, just to name a few, you need to VOTE.
The League of Women voters has an excellent guide to your local elections.
Invest the time to understand who and what you are voting for. This election, it is country over party.
