To all our valued customers that have experienced pickup at Harris County Farms we would like to thank you for your patience during pickup at the new facility the past couple days! Trying to get all the wrinkles worked out so that it is a smooth and efficient experience! Rest assured that the kinks are not unnoticed! We are working for this to be the best experience for you! Also, remember that pickup is at Harris County Meats at the corner of Miller Rd 1 and Miller Rd 2!

As the owners of Going’s Meat Processing for the past 25 years we would like to thank everyone for their continued support but as of this time we will be moving our operations and joining The Harris family of Harris County Meats as of September/ October of this year. The same quality of work will be performed as we have provided the past 25 years in Baytown. If you have ordered a side of beef or a whole beef or currently scheduled to drop off livestock at our facility you will still be taken care of and that schedule won’t change. And everyone already on the schedule between now and 2027 will stay on the books. We are currently bulging at the seams in this facility.

Moving our operations will be a good move to assure our customers the highest quality workmanship of finished products. We are looking forward to the future and embracing this new journey going forward. This brand new facility is top notch and one of a kind and we will have the ability to add more further processed choices and for our farm to table people we will now have the ability to provide inspected harvest and private label. We will even be able to serve a cold beer or margarita with a full service bar. LOL

Within the next couple of weeks there will be a facebook post and a few phone calls made to our non facebook customers inviting you to come and take a tour of the new facility. This move was made with our customers in mind and we feel like after weighing out the pros and the cons, the pros overwhelmingly prevail. We look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to us and rest assured that this is a good move for us and our customers.

Reminder:

We are taking appointments for the drop-off of cattle, so please call and schedule with Regina as soon as possible. Right now, we are booking individual drop-offs for June 2025.

When dropping off livestock we have to have your cutting sheet filled out prior to unloading per our State Inspectors.
