Dear Pyburn’s and Jim’s Meat Market Customers:

We value our customers and the community and would NEVER put anyone in harm’s way. We are committed to provide our customers with fresh meat, farm fresh produce, dairy products as well as other household staples.

It has come to our attention that there are individuals who are now spreading FALSE information that spoiled meat from the Jim’s Meat Market fire was sold to Pyburn’s for resale.

Just know all meat from Jim’s Meat Market has been destroyed. The meat that survived the fire was removed from the premises and was placed into a dumpster and coated with bleach to ensure that no one would retrieve it.

Additionally, the Houston Health Department surveyed the damage at Jim’s Meat Market and subsequently went to Pyburn’s for a facility review and found Pyburn’s to be completely in compliance.

We want the community to know how much we appreciate our customers especially during this difficult time.

Dear friends and community,

As you may have heard, there was a terrible fire at Jim’s yesterday evening. Everyone inside the building made it out safely and no one was harmed. Heartbreakingly, it was engulfed in flames, and it left behind barely a shell of a building.

As of this moment, we are not sure what our next course of action is. Our hope is to rebuild as quickly as possible, bigger and better.

We thank everyone for their loyalty and continued patronage. This community means a lot to us, and we like to believe the feeling is mutual.

This will not keep us down and with the help of God, we will get back on our feet.

We will try to keep everyone updated.
