⠀ Because we are! And so is our vendor, Iryna!

Iryna has many talents, and one of her passions is vybiika - a traditional Ukrainian technique for printing patterns on fabric using carved wooden blocks.

⠀ This craft involves applying dyes to these blocks, which are then pressed onto the cloth to create intricate designs. The practice has roots in Ukrainian folk art, with some examples dating back to the 18th century. Historically, both the creation of the woodblocks and the printing process were done by hand.
