SATURDAY October 3rd MARKET: 8:30 to noon, 101 E. East St. 43160.
October has arrived and sets the tone for the morning's market. Which means fall produce, including winter squash and PUMPKINS! You’ll find the carving kind, big and small, as well as both edible and decorative squash. There will be pumpkin baked goods and pumpkin crafts. And our Power of Produce - POP Kids Club features the opportunity for kids to decorate their very own pumpkin and create a special fall masterpiece to take home.
COMMUNITY GUEST: Fayette County Early Learning Center (Head Start) returns this week....... Stop by their table to learn more about enrollment opportunities for local children and families. They currently have open spots in Head Start, Early Head Start home-based, and Early Head Start center-based through their partnership with Rock-A-Bye. Come meet their team, ask questions, and find out how to enroll.
AND our musical guest is guitarist, singer, and songwriter Vudu Childe, performing a soulful mix of blues, rock, soul, and country (compliments of the Fayette County Travel & Tourism Bureau).

Jim's Premium Ground Beef (Jim Hobbs): local ground beef (85% lean) – bulk, patties, jumbo steak burgers and sliders. Sample snack sticks (hillbilly cheddar, mild, and honey sriracha) with 14.6 protein, no sugar and no carbs.
JULIE G’S COOKIES (Julie Greenslade): Cookies: chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, ginger, snickerdoodle, sugar, pineapple, macadamia nut, peanut butter jumbos, peanut butter cookies, peanut butter fudge, pumpkin with butter cream icing. German chocolate cake, lemon cake and Texas sheet cakes.
Karyn's Kreations (Karyn Brunton): Crochet plushies and wearables, dish cloths, pot scrubbies, beaded jewelry.
LUIGI’S GOURMET CHOCOLATE (Bill Davis): A dippable chocolate candy confection in a jar.
Nonna's Sewing Room (Sherry Collins): Variety of quilting & sewing items. Big restock of porch goose dresses, mini geese, and more.
PAPPYS SORGHUM PATCH (Scott Knowles): Sorghum products: syrup, flour, & cereal. Heritage corn meals, stone ground grits, old-fashioned cornbread muffins, cashew brittle. Fresh garlic, peppers and butternut squash. Handcrafted soap and wooden kitchen utensils.
Red Maple Goats & Soaps (Cindi Grover): 20 varieties of handmade small batch goat milk soaps, 17 different fragrances of goat milk lotion, as well as goat milk shampoo bars and laundry soap. Solid Goat Milk Dish Soap in hand crafted ramekin by Jeff Shepard of Windy Hen Acres along with scrub brush. Check out our special kid’s table, all kids items priced at $5.
REISINGER FARMS (Julie Reisinger): Pumpkins! Also, sweet potatoes, red potatoes, & bell peppers.
Rural Beans Roastery (Kameron Rinehart & Tino Poma): Assorted freshly roasted coffee (ground and beans), including new “autumn spice” coffee. Logo items including mugs, hoodies and air fresheners.
SOUTH PLYMOUTH HOME BAKED GOODS AND RAW HONEY: (Dennis and Julie P. Mosny): Local raw honey, raw beeswax and cut comb honey. Homemade blackberry, peach, apple, cherry, rhubarb and strawberry rhubarb pies. Iced sugar cookies, pumpkin bread, banana bread and cinnamon rolls.
THE SUGAR CREEK TRADING CO. (The Jam Man/David Persinger): Grape jelly/jam, ginger pear preserves, cherry butter, plum butter, and a NEW BATCH of apple butter, and no-added sugar strawberry. (And most of my other jams/jellies, but stock is getting low). Chocolate Texas sheet cakes with or without pecans. Local raw honey and HOT HONEY.
THE WELCH TRIO (Frances, Debbie and Terry Welch): Wood signs, variety of crocheted kitchen items and animals, sewn kitchen crafts, crochet items, 3-D printed figurines and novelties.
WINDY HEN ACRES (Jeff Shepherd & Angie Nichols): Farm fresh eggs and assorted wheel thrown pottery.
BRIDGEVIEW GARDENS (Hunter & Lorelle Rohrer): Seasonal produce: large slicing tomatoes, white potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, winter squash, peppers.
Compton Creek Farms (Jason & Jenna Bryan): Frozen pasture-raised chicken, turkey, and lamb, including chicken wings, drums, breasts, brats, turkey cuts, ground turkey, smoked turkey products, lamb chops, and ground lamb.
Cozy Baby Blessings (Nancy Cutter): Not at the market this Saturday, but will return on Oct 10th. Orders are always accepted through her page.
