We're wrapping up the last stretch of October in full spooky-season style at the **Humble Hoquiam Homestead farm stand** — and we're doing it with a sweet tooth! 🍬

🎉 FREE FREEZE-DRIED CANDY for ALL of our patrons through the rest of October! 🎉

That's right — just swing by the stand, grab your farm-fresh finds, and we'll tuck a little bag of our homemade freeze-dried candy into your hand. (Or into your pocket. Or straight into your mouth — no judgment here. 🍭)

We have Gummy Bears, Starburst and Sour Skittles currently available. We make all of this right here on the homestead, in our little home kitchen, with a whole lot of love, a few honeybees for company, and an alpaca or two keeping watch. 🐝🦙

Whether you're here for the veggies, the eggs, the honey, or just to say hi to the farm — we want you to leave with a smile (and a candy).

The girls love stealing the show when we are filling the duck pools!

Gigi is the most obsessed and hogs the hose. She gets so excited she jumps and tries to dip her toes in the pools.

Happy Sunday!

We restocked our avocado starts and put out 2 - 5 gallon buckets of alpaca beans.

If you didn't know:

Alpaca beans is also known as manure, p**p, or fertilizer. Unlike many other types of manure (like cow or chicken), alpaca has little to no smell ‼️

Its also low in w**d seeds due to their three chamberesd stomach, making their digestive system super efficient.

But what makes it really superior?

Alpaca 💩 doesn’t “burn” plants because of its low nitrogen content which means it can be used directly on plants without composting. 🤩

However, composting will give you the best results.

Another option is making Alpaca “Tea” by soaking a few cups of p**p in a 5-gallon bucket of water.
