Pomai Kulolo Selling, distributing, catering and teaching everything Hawaiian Food. From sweet Haupia to savory K Pomai Kulolo is owned and operated by Keanuenue Kekaula.

Originally started in 2008, Keanue used a family recipe to begin making his kulolo and sold it roadside at various locations throughout the island. Seeing the great response to his kulolo, Keanue decided to offer haupia as well as his own original creation, haulolo. Both products were very well received. With encouragement from his many dedicated customers, Keanue decided to take his business to higher level and began selling in farmer’s markets throughout Oahu. Now, as the business has continued to grow and customers continue to love his products, he is in the process of selling in supermarkets as well. While Keanue continues to be the driving force behind Pomai Kulolo, he credits much of his success to those by his side who have and continue to help operate the business.

Poi beyond Kalo is a Good way to work towards food security/food sustainability. We need to get our palates familiar with other foods that grow well here in the islands especially when we experience shortages of other crops. That way consumers can pivot and adjust easily to other foods and be happy and satisfied with their choices
