🌱 A Vision to Feed Alabama’s Hungry 🌱

With a one-time $1 million investment, the West Homewood Farmers Market team has a sustainable plan to fight food insecurity across Alabama. Our goal: build freight farms that grow fresh produce year-round. We’ll sell to restaurants, reinvest 35% of profits to expand new farms, and donate the rest to organizations feeding and educating those in need.

The land is already donated — now we just need partners to make it happen. If you or your organization would like to invest or contribute, email [email protected]. Together, we can grow something that lasts. 🌾

📢 Market Update: No Market on July 1 📢

We’ve made the decision to cancel the West Homewood Farmers Market for Tuesday, July 1. The forecast is calling for heavy rain and the possibility of lightning, and while we’re normally a rain-or-shine market, safety comes first. We don’t want to put our vendors, volunteers, or patrons at risk.

We know this is disappointing, but we’re looking forward to better weather and seeing everyone back at the market soon. Enjoy the 4th of July holiday, stay safe, and thank you for being part of our amazing community! 🇺🇸❤️🌽

Last week was a hot one, but our amazing community showed up in full force—and we’re ready to do it all again! Come shop with around 60 fantastic local vendors offering fresh produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, artisan crafts, and more.
