The farm was covered in black clouds and it rained most of the day, but we will not let that stop us. We will be back in the orchards Friday. May 29th for our final weekend of fresh cherries.

Please don’t let the gloom weather prevent you from coming out for the last of the season’s finest.

We won’t know until morning what varieties made it through the rain but we will update you as soon as we know tomorrow.

It was cold outside today, but it was warm in the kitchen. Fairhaven Orchard’s Sweet Treats are back in stock this weekend. We will have fresh baked apricot granola bars, white chocolate cherry cookies, and chocolate dipped apricots.

We are entering into our final week of CHERRY SEASON and they just keep getting better.

Four beautiful varieties to choose from. 🍒 Left to right: Bings, Royal Helens, Coral Champagne and Rainier. The Bings are now coming out of our Hollister orchard and IYKYK… simply amazing! All four are delicious, so you can’t really go wrong.

What’s a ROYAL HELEN 🍒 and why all the buzz? Out of hundreds of varieties of cherries, the Royal Helen is the largest and most unique in flavor.

Royal Helen is a proprietary variety that requires a higher amount of chill hours compared to other cherry varieties. Most years our region has the ideal weather for the Royal Helen. Only certain regions of California can grow this particular, temperamental variety and we are one of them.

So is it worth it? Head on over and try for yourself, only at Fairhaven Orchards.
