If you follow 25 Fresh Freeze Dried, who is a frequent guest vendor at our Night Markets, they will be making a new page soon due to technical difficulties. Here's a link to their post (and a screenshot in the comments in case their page disappears before you can click on the link). We'll keep you updated with their new page when we know more details.

Blue Barn Farm just posted that they have re-opened their Flowing Springs Road self-serve location, open daily from 9-7. Here are the details!
Blue Barn Farm is back open after our winter break, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome you back to the market!
Our cool-weather favorites are here — fresh spinach and kale that taste their absolute best this time of year. The longer days have the pastured chickens in full production too, so eggs are stocked and ready.
You’ll also find maple syrup, Clover Creek Cheese, cabbage, apples, turnips, carrots, winter radishes, coffee, our jarred products and more — check out the photo to see everything currently available.
Our self-serve market is open daily from 9–7.
📍 615 Flowing Spring Road, Williamsburg
Stop by, stock up, and celebrate the start of a new season with us. We’ve missed you!

Intense cold has struck our area and we are now in the dead of winter. Blue Barn Farm has announced that their farm market is closed for the season. Here's their original post, and stay warm, everybody!
Season Closing Announcement ❄️
Old Man Winter has officially won this round! With these freezing temperatures, it’s just too cold to keep produce in our market — everything is starting to freeze up!
📍 Blue Barn Farm Market is now closed for the season.
The good news? You can still enjoy many of our products all winter long through blair_markets online.
We’ll be back in the spring when our lettuces and greens are up, growing, and ready to welcome warmer days 🌱
Until then, thank you for another wonderful season of supporting local food and our farm. Stay warm, stay safe, and we’ll see you again this spring! 💚

Anthony from Clover Creek Cheese Cellar has some happy news from the Pennsylvania Farm Show's competition! You may have tried Anthony's cheeses at the Blue Barn Farm stand at the Hollidaysburg Farmers Market. Here's what he said: "My cheese won two awards at the Pennsylvania Farm Show this week!

Winemaker’s Select got a second-place ribbon in the Flavored Cheese category.

The judges loved the bold, wine-forward flavors complemented by fruity notes and a long finish.

Grateful Ched won a second-place ribbon in the Cheddar category.

The judges liked Grateful Ched’s unique beer aroma, bold and balanced taste, and the smooth and creamy texture.

Have you tried either of these award-winning cheeses yet?

You can find us sampling and selling cheese at the Cheese Competition booth at the PA Farm Show tomorrow (Tuesday) and Friday.

If you can’t make it to the Farm Show this week, we will be sampling these two award winning cheeses at our farm store on Saturday during our hosted hours."

The largest indoor agricultural exposition in the United States continues through Jan. 17th. Here's some historical background: From the original post: "It's Marker Monday!
Pennsylvania Farm Show

The 2026 Farm Show is underway! Today's Pennsylvania Farm Show has its roots in an agricultural fair first organized by the Pennsylvania Agricultural Society in 1851. These fairs were an annual event until the society discontinued them in 1899 in response to mounting complaints from more sedate fair goers about the unseemly entertainments and "unwholesome" carnival side shows that accompanied it. The desire for a state fair, however, did not go away.

In 1916, Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture Charles Patton worked with assistant agricultural extension director Ed Hibshman and others to organize a new agricultural fair. In January 1917, the "Pennsylvania Corn, Fruit, Vegetable, Dairy Products, and Wool Show" was held in a farm machinery dealer's building in Harrisburg. Both visitors and the founders of the three-day event judged it a resounding success.

Today's Farm Show is the largest indoor agricultural exposition in the United States and runs for 8 days.

The Dirty Soda Shack is absolutely still in business...Just not as a brick and mortar location. From their post: "To our Dirty Soda Family…

First, we would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to our loyal customers especially those who have supported us since day one! ❤️

In September of 2022, we launched our small business and with our tiny trailer, we introduced Dirty Sodas to the area. We became Central PA’s first Dirty Soda Destination, offering a rotating food menu and large variety of homemade sweet treats. We are so grateful to have been welcomed with open arms by this awesome community!

In July of 2023, we were given an amazing opportunity to have our own brick and mortar location - drive thru style! Once again, the community supported us and we were well received!

As most of you know, as a very small family owned and operated business, it is difficult to hire and staff individuals and in addition, our family suffered many losses just a few short months after opening. Along with other personal challenges and staffing, it became nearly impossible to have consistent hours of operation at our drive thru location. After taking some time to consider all things, we determined closing our drive thru loation was the best decision.

We want to let our customers know that we are NOT going away anytime soon and are still operating our trailer, business as usual - for private and public events (weather permitting as we are heading into the winter season) We are still offering our catering services as well. You will continue to see us out and about, on wheels to get your Dirty Soda fix, Kelly’s Thick n Chewy Cookies, and MORE! STAY TUNED FOR SOME MORE DIRTY SODA CONENT as we will be flooding your news feeds more often!

Last but not least, we just want to thank our dear kind-hearted friends at Your Jewelry Box and Wire Wizards Electrical Services for all of their amazing support and encouragement from day one! Couldn’t do any of this without them!

Thanks again for a great season! The market has ended but you will see many of our market vendors at this Saturday's Hollidaysburg 2025 PumpkinFest, Allegheny Street, from 10am-4pm. Please support local producers and farmers markets everywhere that you find them. That includes online sources like Blair Markets as well as local businesses who carry local produce or create new offerings in partnership with our farmers, growers and producers. And don't forget, some of our market vendors have their own storefronts or partnerships with local businesses. Blue Barn Farm has a farm market on their property about eight miles from Hollidaysburg, and they partner with Seraphim Sourdough, Clover Creek Cheese Cellar, and Hess Maple Products. Bake Shop Bakes Tyrone has a lovely café shop. The Skirted Soldier 's teas can be found at multiple stores in central PA. And many of our other vendors will meet you in or near Hollidaysburg if you place an order. Doug's Dawgs and The Dirty Soda Shack are in demand around the community at various events. If your favorite market vendor has a page, please follow it to stay in touch. If they don't have social media, you're welcome to message our page so we can help you connect.
