Spain in a single shop run 🥘
Paella (pie-AY-yah) is Spain's best-known rice dish. It comes from Valencia and is cooked in a wide, shallow pan, so the rice soaks up a saffron-rich broth and gets a crispy, caramelized layer on the bottom called the socarrat. Our seafood version keeps it easy and still makes a great dinner party:
🦐 Aneto Seafood Paella Base: a ready-to-cook broth, so all you add is rice and seafood
🍚 Short-grain Italian rice: it soaks up every drop of that broth
🐟 Caviar: a little luxury to start the night
🧀 Pecorino: a firm, nutty Italian sheep's milk cheese to snack on with a fresh baguette while the pan simmers
🧂 Maldon Sea Salt Flakes: a crunchy pinch to finish
📖 The Blue Food Cookbook by Andrew Zimmern: a guide to cooking seafood well, with its own paella recipe for when you want to make it from scratch
Pour a glass of Bico da Ran Albariño from Rías Baixas. It's crisp, salty and made for seafood. Or try the Aragosta Vermentino from Sardinia, which is bright and citrusy, with a lobster right on the label.
Everything you need for dinner, all under one roof. Stop by and we'll help you put your paella night together.
