Look at that sun shining on our CSA options! This afternoon we’ve gotten the most perfect weather for our transition into Summer CSA! Not to mention, warmth and humidity really make veg sing!

We farmers too love these first warm days, beckoning in the craze of summer and bounty to come. We hope you enjoy this sun, and relish in the taste of spring turning to summer (green garlic, spring onions, and juicy greens that will soon find it too hot to grow). Eat up!

I just wish you all could smell this post!! Onthis day, our last spring greens csa pickup, all the stops have been pulled out! We’ve got radishes, the very first green garlic of the season, and asian green raab!

And boy is this raab fragrant. It smells like the nectar of spring kissing us goodbye (hello summa) AND it’s bella (the dog) approved!

Thank you spring. Your greens have been mighty, and reminded us of the summer bounty to come. Next up: growing season csa!

We’ve got a new sourdough bread vendor for the farmstand! Jenn from the Cozy Oven Bakery in Charlotte delivered some beautiful loaves this morning. And I’m obsessed! It’s so chewy and crusty and flavorful 🩷🍞 Currently have plain sourdough and Italian herb and cheese. Come give it a try!
