Our first group is full. We will be adding a second group that'll be ready around July 15th. Pre-orders must be in by July 1st for this group.

We will also have a few ducks ready then.

🎉Pre-orders are now open for our pastured chicken, anticipated to be available around late May/early June. Each chicken will weigh between 4.5 and 5.5 pounds. 🎉

Pricing is structured as follows:
🐔$15 per whole chicken,
🐓$9 per half,
🐔$5 per quarter for wing and breast or $4 per quarter for leg and thigh.
🐥Spatchcock chickens are $18,
🐔8-piece packs are $20.

🌻Our parted products include: wings ($4/lb), thighs ($4/lb), legs ($4/lb), and breast ($5/lb).

🐓For organ enthusiasts, heart, liver, and gizzard sets can be added for $1.50. Bulk organ purchases include liver or gizzards at $4/lb, hearts at $5/lb, and chicken feet (5 lb bags) at $10.

Whatever is not pre-ordered by May 1st, will be first come first serve. We plan on having a few of each cut option, with a majority cut up into parts packages.

$5/chicken deposit required.

What have we been up to lately?

We are in the thick of getting chicks in! Our oldest daughter handles most of the day to day logistics of our egg layers and starts the chicks too. Yesterday we got in 500 brown layers and 95 white layers. They shoukd start laying around August. The week before we got on 300 broilers, and 100 blue and green egg layers. So a few of the stores we supply eggs to will have the option of a "Rainbow Dozen" that will consist of blue, gree, brown and white eggs.

We've also got a bunch of fair chicks started. The little guys with mohawks are Houdans. We also got some Pekin ducks in that will be for 4H and meat, and we have some Embden gosling that will be for 4h and then the freezer later this fall. Our daughter also hatched some Swedish duckling too, they're in the goose pen.

I didn't get any pictures of our turkeys or guineas.

If you'd like to see any of the guys, a bunch of them will be at the Cottonwood County Fair in August.

We have extra dozens of cage free eggs available this week. You can pick them up in Worthington or arrange for a meeting point depending on the quantity ordered. We go from Worthington to Wabasso daily. Both brown and white eggs are available. The price is $3 per dozen or $2.50 per dozen for orders of 15 dozen or more. We have a limited amount of duck and goose eggs available. $3/6pack of duck eggs and $1/ea on the goose eggs.
Can be picked up at our Worthington site or can meet up between Storden and Wabasso daily.
